heya, so far have added induction and kakimoto catback exhaust, thinking of going for the full straight through tho.. was looking at DTA's response, checked out the website...only problem is i live in stirling in scotland which is one hell of a treck. what is socketing btw?

heya, got a 300zx z32 twin turbo, just fitted a new adi boost guage/boost controller. was wondering if anyone has any idea how to fit it to control the turbos as ive only so far managed to use it as a gauge. also......once its rigged up, can i up the boost at all without doing any other modifications. please advise me oh mighty fairlady-ers!!!

just to let you know i bought a set of wheels from that company you were showing on ebay. the wheels arrived withing days but required spacers, they arrived but didnt fit, spacers were sent back and then i had 3-4 weeks of the company just messing me about, they lied to me several times and seemed to just love pissing me about. the wheels are on now and look F*****G amazing butim not sure i would ever like to go through that stress again! just for your information tho, up to u

just took the car out for a run with the new sensor fitted, much better but still hesitates and misfires when it gets hot! gggrrrr, id love to see what a fully working 300zx feels like to drive, if one exists

hmmm, is ur car skyline midnight purple? or a rare 300zx colour? well, i started the car and im leaving it to warm up coz i havnt driven it due to the misfiring problem, will just keep an eye on the temperature and hopefully all will be well. how do u bleed the coolant anyway?

cheers for all ya comments, v helpful, ive fitted a new coolant sensor, about to take the car out but was wondering do i need to remove air from the coolant system or is it ok to drive? stupid question i know but...

might seem like a retarded question but just fitted a new coolant sensor and wondered it i need to worry about if there are any air pockets or anything?

thanks mate, will prob just go for the new one so that its 1 less thing to worry about. i didnt realise that this would make the car missfire,but thats what the garage said, any ideas about that?

heya, took my imported z32 turbo for engine diagnostics test because of a misfiring problem, came back saying that its the coolant temperature sensor thats causing the misfire. went to nissan to get the part and they said they dont know if the UK part will be the same as the jap part...anyone have any ideas or have experienced the same problem??

problem i have is trying to get hold of a stillen lip, the shippin costs from america are re-god-damn-diculous!

mine does it more when fuel is low

heya, checked the fuse, then all of the fuses and wasnt them so removed all of the plastic from the boot lining and found an earth wire had cracked at the connector and so managed to bodge-ineer it back. IT WORKS!! cheers all

heya, my zed turbo has this strange feeling of a lack of power when cruising with the foot just holding the throttle. it seems to happen only if im not accelerating...just rolling along- for instance in 3rd gear at 30 it will feel hesitant and then when i put my foot down its fine, also noticed yeaterday its now doing the same thing but clearly missfiring at the same time until you put your foot down and then its fine?? anybody have any ideas, im new to zeds and this car is starting to put me off them already.

alrighty? my zeds rear windscreen heater has stopped working and recon it could just be the fuse...does anyone know where i can locate said fuse as it doesnt seem to be in the engine bay fuse box? also what size is the fuse?

ive had my zed turbo for 3 months and so far it has been the least reliable car yet. very temperMENTAL. likes to misfire SOMETIMES, then sometimes doesnt, makes funny noises that fill you with fear, stopped dead on a dual carriageway! and its only got 50,000miles on it so cant have been treated well by previous owners. fun fun fun

i hope the right anti freeze is in it, thats wat i thought may have caused it at first. took the car to the garage that it was serviced at and apparently the alternater isnt working the way it should, its only puting out 10v and so they recon this could be the cause of the problems. not sure about the driving car from cold theory as every car ive ever owned (especially this one) drives like a dog when driven cold. gearbox whines, engine feels and sounds rough...not nice! understand where your coming from tho....cheers everyone for advice

i had the car serviced two weeks ago and they put a new belt on but its certainly slipping

fan belt hasnt snapped, still on just squeeky. i was talking bout the coolant filler, probably the overflow thing.
