Cool ! Bear in mind the 700r4 auto box with a mild re-build kit, approx £200, and you can do it yourself ! See attached photo !! The 700r4 in my Camaro does 38mph per 1,000rpm, when in lock-up overdrive. A rebuild kit with quick shift settings will handle up to 700 horses !! A stroker kit would take it up to383ci (ish) and it would redline around 5.000rpm. :D If you decide to go Injection, have a read at this site. Have used this guy in the states and can recommend him. http://www.chevythunder.com Tell him what you are looking for and he will knock you up a loom to suit just about anything !! That includes the relative ECM to work the engine management system and the 700r4 auto box. Keep the piccys coming. Will follow this one with interest. Will also see if I have an ols sump kicking around, any use to you I will send it down, even to experiment with ! All the best, Alan.
