  18. thanks for the reply jeff il try that trick! hopefully if an airlock is present then it will go with a proper flush however after i park up 30mins later there is a large puddle under car  is this a leak or still due to air trapped there is no evidence of water from water pump just drips out of the undertray drivers side hose related or is this water pissing from expansion tank  splatt cheers for that if rad cap trick fails il flush cheers bud
  19. last week i did a coolant change and fitted smithys hardpipe kit great i thought  removed all the old hoses flushed rad and refilled with the correct mix of antifreeze/water a day later i started her up and it took ages for the temp to come up thought this was strange, then all of a sudden temp started to go to max!!!on inspection all the water had gone from the rad.Looked at rad cap and the seal was fooked so ordered another one, fitted that bled the systym and refilled day later did the same again  repeated and it did it again FFS sorry to go on but would a faulty rad cap dump water out of the expansion tank? theres no white smoke from exhaust other than condensation the only thing i can think is if somethings not done up tight enough! and water is leaking. today i noticed very fine bubbles in the water with a little bit of white on the surface from the bleed screw end not the refil end! if that makes sense. :) what do you all think temp is fine theres no oil loss no leaking oil in water... should i just remove everything and start again opinions and experiance please :) thanks greg
  20. no more common than that happening on any turbo car mate but if your buying your uncles 300 with 120k on the clock dont expect the turbos to last forever especially if they are still the original ones but good luck in your quest greg
