  2. lol i already have sorted it, got new rack and arms coming, thanks for the advice but iv had dump valves on cars before so i know already and im gettin some!
  3. whats the cheapest option? they dont add any performance anyway?
  4. turbo seals yeah i heard about if the turbos are weak the decat will finish them off, im sure a couple of turbos second hand wont cost the earth will they well they wont cost more than a couple of cats cos mine are hangin off, you can only weld a weld so many times lol
  5. where do they go? into the car under the seats, then where do they go? surely they must go somewhere? or are they for diagnostics?
  6. so the ecu doesnt mind the heat sensors flapping about under the car?
  7. like does the dump valve have to be made specifically for a 300zx or is a dump valve a universal thing?
  8. does the ecu not require the temp sensors to be in the exhaust? and how far up the exhaust are the lambdas then cos the de cats go right up to the turbos dont they.
  9. if i pull the old cats off and fit decats is there and lamda sensors to worry about, or what about the heat wires that go to under the seats? nothing is easy is it lol
  10. i put the rack in the vice and push the tie rods in and out, thats where the play is, so surely if i can get that sorted the mot will be piss
  11. i can make one and stick it on the car before i can earn 200quid and sit waiting for postage lol

Hi guys, i got a knackered hicas system, the tie rod joins have play in, if it was cheap enough i would have just put the full kit on from driftworks but that works out over 200quid, you can get just the lock out bar for 80 but thats not the problem on mine cos i would have to fit my knackered tie rods, and a new set of tie rods to get the hicas working properly would be about 130. i know owning a car like these are never cheap like everyone else mine has made me skint, but, i can not justify it this time so heres the mission, to make an entire lock out kit and then join the two pipes together to eliminate the hicas. how would you fabricate one, it would have to have to be adjustable to get the wheels tracked once its fitted and it couldnt be rigid cos of the suspension, whats people got to say then?

  16. excellent mate thanks, iv done the handbrake but the rack i got from a breaker aint any good so i didnt stick it on, im prob gona go for a fixed rear end, hicas eliminator, in which case i can cut it off cant i, do those pipes go right to the front of the car do you have to blank them if you fix the rear end, is it joined to the front ones?
  17. thanks mate your a star, can i ask you one more thing, you know the rear hicas rack, iv unbolted it from the balljoints now i wana remove the hydraulic pipes how do i go about that?
  18. Hi guys, my handbrake aint worth having, i dont know why, but i want to get the rear hubs off, is the disc and hub all one thing? how does it come off and is the handbrake a common fault? thanks
