again find a decent one, there will be next to nothing in rust as long as it has been looked after properly, check on piston heads as thats were mine is lol :p ---- jap imports are usually better than uk ones as have less rust etc...... but im sure some of the guys on her will educate you...

My thoughts exactly :slap: as overdrive is a button on most gear knobs and so needs pressing to activate/deactivate, so cant be done by mistake, also putting it from overdrive on to overdrive off would just activate engine breaking so unless he was doing exessive speeds i dont see how this could damage anything, as overdrives highest gear is 3 and 3rd gear will take 80 mph and above ????????? :headvswal

power button holds the revs up when slowing down etc to allow a faster accelleration-- sort of a sports mode (not that its needed) it will go into 4th gear with power turned off as long as overdrive is on.... Overdrive keeps the gears to 1,2,3 .

i am planning on selling my car as i am moving to australia, however just wanted some advise as to not let my car go for next to nothing.. the Zed is completley standard except front bumper and tinted tail lights. has low milage, 70,000 odd and had a respray in blue. Very good runner etc no smoke knocks or rattles.... lots of service history and pics of the respray cambelt, aux belt , waterpump all recently replaced. this is not a sale thread as i know the rules and im not selling for a couple of months yet, but just after a rough estimate as to how much its worth please if possible. :D

so when the car is stone cold should i see the water level on the rad where the main rad cap is, or will there be no water there as it should be further down the neck of the rad... when cold! :D

ok im done i left engine running for bout 6-7 mins while it got to the correct temp, all air bubbles had stopped so put bleed screw back in... then the rad after few mins started to overflow down the overflow pip. so i put the rad cap on... turned off engine... i take it thats done now yeh ? :)

nope havent a clue when this was changed last,- ok so the car is outside now and jacked up higher at the front. i have undone the bleed screw and the rad cap. do i start the engine and fill or not? and do i fill so that the bleed screw is topped then replace bleed screw and continue to top up the rad sidde till thats full ? thanks
