iirc gearbox and diff oil are different. Redline MT90 for the gearbox oil is a good choice as it can help with synchros that are getting a bit stiff on gear change. Someone will be along that can help better mate.

I tried to clean my first one but it was fubar'd, I'd still recommend trying before going doing the s/h route. Can't hurt. Good point on the other possible causes.

I got knocked off my bike when I was a kid. Bloke in a transit opened the door as I was coming past and knocked me right off. He then proceeded to have a go at me for cycling down the road. Smacked the fecker in the mouth for that one and he picked himself up got back in his van and drove off. I was an angry 13 year old at the time..lol
