Killed my first zed due to a patch of black ice, not catching it quick enough and bouncing off the central res barriers twice while doing a full 720 on the A47.

Indeed you do mate, and be ready to catch for any twitches from the rear.. Even experienced drivers can get caught on that.

Blocked heater matrix maybe? Any strange noise coming from the water pump? And was it fully bled when you changed the rad and put new coolant in?

Not an expert on this, but I can't see why not.

I would doubt that Dan would have sold that as an uprated oil cooler. Looks more like an autobox fluid cooler, which would be an upgrade to the one built into the rad? Can't see the point of fitting that bud. Just my thoughts...

not being funny mate, but ditch the turbo timer and just ease off the loud pedal for the last few miles home. That's what I would do.

5--6 3--4 1--2 from the front of the engine.

Was going to say that there are two screws at the bottom of the cluster that provide power and earth, can't remember which ones they are though as I've not used them. Not much help I know :blush:
