  1. Welcome matey :)
  2. Welcome matey :) The gearbox mounting may be causing your vibrations, or the prop centre bearing may be gone. Both are readily available.
  3. I've been offered a very good deal on my mate's company Vectra 1.9CDTI SRi estate (150bhp) The car is on an 06 plate and has a full dealer service history. It's in excellent condition, however it's done 108,000 miles. I know that the 150bhp 1.9cdti engine is probably the best diesel that vauxhall have, but is this a high mileage considering it's a diesel? I don't really know a thing about diesels :wack:

Not if he takes his pink T-shirt with him ;):rofl::rofl: Only joking mate... Have a great time :duffer::duffer:
  5. No the motor is still there :) Just wire it straight to it and reverse the pole to make it go down?
  6. Cheers, problem is the door (and glass) is on my breaker, which has been stripped. I can't put the window down . Is there another way to remove it without resorting to a hammer :smash:
  7. How do you remove the door glass? I've looked in the service manual and from what I can gather, it's held on by the two window stoppers? Would undoing these allow me to take the glass out? Cheers, as always Dave
  8. Yes you should have ABS.
  9. much cheaper to get a second hand box fitted.
  10.:rofl::rofl: What beauty, "like the beard..gives you something to hang to" blackadder
  11. always thought it was called tw@tter :x:
  12. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090814/tsc-look-alike-men-attract-women-more-4b158bc.html Don't really want a 200lb bold headed woman :nono:
  13. Cheers for that mate. I'll give it six and when I get my respray, I'll get them to laquer the targas as well.
  14. Nissan rattle cans  I'm trying to save a bit of cash on a full respray, by spraying the inner parts of the boot, doors, wings etc. Had a bit of bubble rust on the targas so I thought I'd do them as well. Car will be getting a professional respray some time soon.
  15. I've been respraying my targas, so far I've given it 2 coats of primer and 4 of KH3. Not sure how many coats of laquer to give it though. I was thinking 3. Is this enough or should I go more? How many did they get at the factory?
  16. Can't wait to get them fitted  I've also got a full front and rear poly bush set, adjustable F & R droplinks, Z1 Hicas eliminator, powertrix adj rear camber set and Stainless braided brake lines to fit as well. Cost a bleedin' fortune, gonna be worth it tho' Big thanks to Dan the Man at DTA.
  17. Welcome matey :) p.s. You'll need to subscribe to post in the wanted section.
  18. The screw fittings moulded into the pod to hold the hazard switch can break easily. I tried fitting washers in place to fill the gap, in the end I had to get a new pod. Think they are about £20 for a new one.
  19. God, KITT looks sooo dated! I wanted my car to be like that when I were a lad
  20. Check the fuel pipes in the engine bay. It's quite common for these to become brittle and crack. If the maf was knacked the engine tends to run very roughly. You can always try cleaning the connection to the maf with some contact spray.
  21. Saw it in the paper today and made me laugh. Animals can be so funny.
  22. Sounds like a right cowboy! lol If you're handy with a spray gun you could do it yourself.
