Didn't the zed have a problem when it was first sold in the uk in that people were to snobby to believe that Nissan could make a car that was actually good. iirc it was this that stopped production in the UK.

When you say you cleaned your filter, you didn't put that filter oil stuff on it did you? I've heard of the the oil being sucked into the maf and coating the wire, therefore giving inaccurate readings. Just a thought.

No I'm not having a laugh, I coudn't give a fig what car you buy. The bit that miffed me was you saying that you wouldn't pay £13k for a zed know matter how good it is. Doesn't really say that you love the zed as much as the next man, especially coming from someone in your position within the club I am not trying to "wish" prices up for the zed I just get a bit pee'd off whenever a decent zed comes up at a decent price (and I'm not talking just about the one in this thread) people on here just start slating them. What hope have we got of pushing up the value of our cars if club members take the piss. That's the point I was trying to get across.

I can say in all honesty that the Z32 is my favourite car of all time. I know that there are faster, better cars around but none of them make my heart flutter like seeing a zed does. I find it very hard to believe that the prices are so low on them and anything that pushes the price up has to be a good thing :sailor:

I agree, as a zed club we should be pushing up the prices of our cars not mocking somebody that is trying to do it. Comments like "I'd rather have a BMW m5 for that money" are not helping the cause at all. Personally I'd rather burn my cash than own a beemer.
