  1. There's no difference between an import or uk engine. The only difference is between the auto and manual. The auto TT has different cams and slightly different turbo internals to the manual, this was to make it more responsive with the auto box. I don't know if the NA auto has different cams to the NA manual. HTH
  2. Welcome matey :)
  3. Thanks for the info, my site is hosted on webs.com but they've gone and sold my domain name registration to another company. I'll give fasthosts a go. I can't unlock my domain name from secureservers.net so I think i'm going to have to wait until the name becomes available again and grab it then. it's bloody annoying I know that. lol
  4. I'm currently with enom.com but I can't renew it at the moment because they've resold it to secureserver.net! :censored: I'm sick of this trouble, it seems to happen every renewal time. Is there a decent provider that actually keeps the domain name with themselves rather than sell it on? cheers
  5. Just going by the wastegate's (again i'm no expert) they do look to be the same.
  6. Should be fine, HEL are a well known decent brand. It will make bleeding the clutch much easier and replaces all the convoluted oem piping.
  7. Strange, mine didn't. The only one I had fit was the speed sensor, which isn't part of the alt loom. I had to use the auto loom and adapt that to the manual as Jeff said. EDIT: no worries mate. lol
  8. You still have to cut mate, the manual loom won't plug into the main connector that the auto used.
  9. Pretty sure that we don't get any discount from Z1 I'm afraid :( Hate you even more now. I want one of them but i'm poor. lol
  10. That's pretty poor consumption for a derv. My vectra estate regularly gives me 45mpg on a short trip and upto 54mpg on a long one. As said, it does go down a bit in the winter and the strong winds we had the other week really affected it. I was getting about 38mpg driving into the wind but managed 68mpg on the way back with the wind behind me. lol
  11. Would do mate but I'm skint at the mo :(
  12. Loving the wing mirrors one mate
  13. The main deletes are egr, Plenum water bypass as you mentioned but you could also delete the PRVR (pass wing area) the AIV if you have it, and the Carbon Canister (behind N/S IC) You can also remove all the old HICAS piping running from the solenoid to the rear rack. You will need to join the two top pipes from the solenoid together, unless you go for an NA Pas pot and pump. If you are taking out the A/C then you can also remove all the piping and rad but leave the electric fan as that's your emergency overheating backup. With the lump out I'd also recommend upgrading your steering rack bushes as it's a pig of a job to do when the engines in. This is a great site for deletes etc.. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/index.html HTH mate.
  14. Have fun mate, hope it all goes well :)
  15. Hope not! I'll get it checked out. Cheers mate:thumbup1: Give him a hand job and tell him your busy, that'll sort it. Works for me
  16. If I grabbed him he'd soon calm down, it would be better than a cold shower for him. lol
  17. I've had tingly hands after using my grinder but it's always gone away after a while, just thought it was normal. Fingers don't change colour. That must be horrible mate
  18. Just had 5mins on my hand squeezy things and my hands are already feeling better. Really must start exercising again :walkman:
  19. I've got them, haven't used them for a while. I'll give it a go, cheers mate :sailor:

+1 That's looking really cool :punk:
  21. current activity could probably be best described as comatose lol. It's something that's happened on and off for years though. No tingling I just suddenly notice my hands are clammy.. cold hands don't work with that, the old boy tries to hide
  22. true  I had a gray rabbit when I was a kid, he didn't try and hump you though, he preferred boxing. I'm sure that daft thing thought it was a Hare...
  23. and women say size doesn't matter :euro:
