  1. I think its great what you guys suggest this but to ask companies to help ie Jimmer and Zed World is a little out of order. These guys are businesses at the end of the day and already offer a lot on this site when it come to issues we have. I have changed my opinion regarding this car Craig, i have been a welder for 10 years and i can tell you mate that car is bad. Break it bud. PS i seen the car today, some nice bits on it and im sure you can recoup some money.
  2. Mate in all fairness one thats been in the uk a while is probably a better buy cost wise and all the problems would of been rectified also. Just look for a well kept, well serviced one. Jeff at zed world could point you in the right direction in purchasing a car. He did with me, his a good guy.
  3. Looks very nice. Would be good to now its service history.
  4. That paint looks stunning, even makes the frog eye supra look nicer.
  5. Looks nice mate, i dont like the spoiler mind. Whats your plans for it?
  6. I would sooner go there than any other garage.
  7. Looks just like his dad
  8. Great stuff mate, make sure you report back on what you think. I hear you on the wage front as im still looking for work, times are rubbish at the mo.
  9. Mate when chipped and boost increased its a hugh difference. 100 mph+ put your foot down and mine just pulls and pulls. I take it you have exhaust and air filter upgraded?
  10. I think the zed manual states not to go below a quarter of a tank.
  11. http://www.automotiveforums.com/t419768.html Very long thread on all parts and options on tuning a Zed including brakes. Hope you find this helps. Smithy your right, sh1t first link, my mistake.
  12. Ha Ha there is a 300zx part to that site.
  13. Proven there are some reliable Zeds but we need more.
  14. http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm See if this helps, there are so many ways to go about this.
  15. Fair point, but im sure you know bigger isnt always better, also more piston not always better. So many factors when it comes to braking.
  16. I would buy our solders body armor, then i would have my zed fitted with the new gtr engine lol
  17. Standard good condition zed calipers and disks do the job real well. Jeff had a zed the other day and stated the brakes were incredible. I think if you going to change your wheels to 18s i would have bigger disks and calipers. Also different brakes work better at certain temps, the size of a disk could also have a cooling effect and make operation poorer than say a smaller disk. More pistons aren't always better either. I will try and find a link to an Australian site where they compared various set ups. The r33 set up is there too and comes out worse than the zed stand brakes. Bare with me though as this is a new computer and i have lost loads of my short cuts.
  18. Knew yours would be. Only 9 cars running good at the moment, come on guys.
  19. Mine is, so lets show how reliable the Zed is. Richard you inspired this question on a previous thread lol
