just orderd some from the zcenter. I thought by looking at the picture, the bush has a slot so you can just slip it on?

Just a quick update. Took the car to the garage for inspection and they said the steering rack bush on one side has come away, so when i turn the wheel the rack is twisting a bit. New bushes on order then

hope its just seizing the z is my daily drive at the mo. (yes i know that's not piratical!!)

just checked the fluid levels and theres plenty in the hicas pot. I've had the rear hicas ball joints replaced a few months ago so i cant think it would be that. Have also checked around the top of the engine for leaks and cant see anything suspect. The problem did go away yesterday but its back again so maybe it is the rack. Not looking forward to jacking the car up in this weather :(

My Z is scaring me a bit lately. When i turn the wheel at 30 degrees while driving the car does not seem to turn enough so when i turn the wheel more the car steering hits a byte point and turns but with a NASTY JURKING byte) :blink: Feels like aquaplaning but I cant see why as my tires are only a year old and a good brand any ideas?

just got the Z though its MOT and surprisingly it passed :clown: The MOT man did say there's slight play in the rear wheels but wasn’t sure its suppose to be like because of the HICAS. So is there suppose to be slight play in the rear wheels? Cheers

it's being a bit funny and only coming On every now and then. Not really found a good description of what this warning is for or what to check (think its for abs?) can some kind person point me in the general direction of what to look at please :)

from what i can tell the turbos are the stock ones. bugger!!

but if i plug them together how will the turbo get any water!!

yes i just broke down because the water had run out, lucky for me the engine still seems ok.... one of the rubber pipes is blocked off (which i assume was going to the turbo) as seen in the picture, so i wasnt sure if this was some mad mod.

doesnt the timing have to be 15degrees as show in the manual? could check your air filter sensor is clean lamda sensors could also need replacing

I was poking around my engine bay trying to fix one problem, only to discover these two venting pipes going to the turbo which looks like the turbos water feed. Is this some kind of mod or do i have a white elephant Z if its not a mod how should it be? :crying: ps. its an import tt manual lwb [/img]

no, they were on the car when i brought it and thought they were stock with maybe lowering springs as the car sits quite low at the front

May Z seems to be rather harsh and and the suspension seems quite hard. I noticed a little turn pot on top of the strut and was wondering if this adjusted the damping rate? currently its set to 1, is this correct?

ah yes problem solved. after checking all the fuses as a last resort the Clearance ILLUMI fuse was blown. funny how one fuse caused me to loose hours worth of tinkering :( Cheers for all the help
