yep that's the one, mad to watch as an adult if you did as a kid, i found the show to build right up to season 4 though and then before you knew it, it was all over they saved the planet but his farther turned in to some eternal mur spirit or somin :/

See if others come up with anything better first but its worth a shot as a last resort and has worked for some as a very short temp meassure, it all depends on what the issue is with the drive if its corrupt data its harder as its trying to move something that it believes is missing try doing it in small blocks to get ass much as you can

Only tactic i've heard of is to lower the temp in a fridge/freezer for a while then try spinning it up, not sure if that would help with a bad sector issue though

Hi John Firstly thanks for being so patient while this was considered :) not only did we consider your enquiry on an individual level but we also wanted to sound out what the best procedure would be for similar future requests. Your cause is a worthy one and i hope you get the support you need!! However the decision has now been made that any member making such a charitable request should, be a Subscribed Member on the forum as well as being along standing known member and must further Pm there request to a mod or committee member for individual consideration. We feel this is the best course of action for such enquiries in the future for various reasons. Although I fully admire those who get involved in charity work or donate money to good causes... not all are in a position to do so, we have to remember that it is (in part) because the public no longer has as much of a disposable income to keep giving many of whom are struggling with rising prices/unemployment etc. It's unfortunate but that's just the way of the world at the moment with the economic climate and what not.
