so far what i have read it helps to even idle and smooth electrical the flow to the sensors and stuff i was thinking of getting one for mine but its on along list of to do's .... won't do any harm to get one plus it has certain benefits and a bit of colour under the bonnet

deffo sounds like the bleader pipe for the clutch impo! its the pipe on the left that terminates with a bleed nipple check this (have you had work on or probs with your clutch)

was it there before ir is it new ...if it was there before are you sure its not something like waxol to treat rust or something like that.. if not check the breather pipes round the plenum also the clutch bleader pipe (has a sorta grease nipple make sure that is tight)

ok could you tell me where abouts the leak is reference to the pic

remember the age of the car tho mate. we all get probs just gotta work your way methodically through stuff to find out the problem

is yours a tt if so any leaks around the hicas controller pump

good idea to subscribe and get a member of the club to go with you cos there a few things on these cars that a novice can miss and it could cost you loads to fix. also people will be more inclined to give you good advice, links ect

in cars for sale on here is the best place to look as club members cars are better looked after generally.. if not try the autotrader website and what ever you do dont buy one off of ebay generally they are dogs with photoshoped pics lol
