i had exactly the same problem at my local quickfit i went in for a puncture to be repaired on my old cav which had a nice set of 17" on them... when refitting the repaired tyre they gouged a 6" chunk of alloy off of the rim :headvswal they sent it off to be repaired but i had to trundle round on a damn spacesaver for 5 days. never never use them again
