  3. wow two post on this in space of half hour http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=61325 may work for your golf too scroll down to craig-s
  4. i think he just did the remove spoiler and smooth look. ;) not the actual reskin bud. willing to be stood corrected thanks gaz
  5. be individual is nice i suppose i should just take the plunge lol
  6. anybody know of a black z with a tailgate skin on it
  7. i really like the back of yours as is but remember mate its your choice. it would be really boring if we all had the same tastes. i personally still like the stock spoiler on a swb as it seems to balance out the back, and by looking at theose pics you posted up of that swb with the smooth back just seems too plain for me. thats why i was toying on the tailgate skin but cant find a black z for love nor money with one on :headvswal if i had your z i would leave the tailgate smooth and add http://www.zcentre.co.uk/rearbumpers/zc004a.htm this bumper but all in my own opinion of course good luck on what ever you decide bud :hyper:
  8. yes those pics are just the smoothed back which im starting to think looks to plain. but thanks for the pics food for thought lol have a look at james300 the closest one to a black z with a tailgate skin i could find
  9. sorry si i have to agree with stellaz but i don't like the 99 spec anyhow so i am biased if you like it mate do it.
  10. im worried about it looking out of proportion on a swb just being smoothed. i really would like a pic of a black swb with the tailgate skin on it. then i can decide.
  11. a picture of the back of a black swb z with a tailgate skin on it please. i have searched and can't find one anywhere it has to be black  to anybody that has one
  12. really easy to do loosen all the bolts to max hold the pedal firmly onto the rubber of the pedal to be fitted to. with other hand slide each of the two sring bars either side of the pedal rubber. slide the top bar down to cover the two spring bars tighten the top bolts first then the bottom ones to firm up the razo onto the original pedal. repeat twice more and you are done hth gaz
  13. thats the sort of look im after.either martinfa's karlosg's or stock look. i know i will probably get slated for this but i think the 99 spec rear spoiler is to complicated for the rear of the z remember guys it only my personal opinion so please don't be harsh on me LOL
  14. no not to my taste im afraid. really looking into either fibreglass one, tailgate skin or smooth option. anyone got prices on these options for me please to fit and spray thanks
  15. but it looks like a vectra spoiler!! not keen on them at all. was thinking of the tailgate skin but don't know how much work is involved in fitting it to a swb
  16. i had my spoiler sprayed when my z went back in for the second time. it looked really good when i got it back but the last week with all this bad weather has taken its toll. the dam thing has bubbled up and looks water logged again.... :headvswal think im going to have to save up for a fibreglass replica or something different.. just won't be until next year now
  17. i really thought the ferrari was going to gewt that doh!
  18. yey bring it on!!!! :hyper:
  19. if its running ok then enjoy it. sign of turbo failure is blue smoke coming from the relevent exhaust. just keep giving it regular oil changes and let it warm up before you boot it. regular maintance is the key to these cars. but chill out and enjoy the beast
  20. the thing is it was only £11 that i paid out so i wasn't toooo bothered about loosing out its just the principle of false advertising i hate  . well ive got my money back but i still have to look for an original boxset of charmed season 1 for a xmas present now, and im not paying £50 for it LOL :headvswal cheers guys   gaz
