go for something not already done or more unusual. have a look through the house of colour swatches and choose from there.

ptu is the most common cause and is renound for this exact problem try a known working one if it is the case get a series 2 ptu they have never known to fail.

hi and welcome to the club. try tightening up the fuel pipes they are known for this exact problem. btw that is a cracking zed you have there and in my events section too. :dance:

also check the tps (throttle position sensor) its attached to the right throttle body. search for the required voltage readings. iirc at close it should be between 0.45-0.50 volts.

looking at the engine from the front. ita at the back right side. there are two connectors going to it.. a black pipe leads from the right hand side of the plenum to it also. did you buy a complete engine with accileries then?

did you use the original idle speed adjuster? if so it may need cleaning or replacing.

aslong as its straight. you take it for a LONG test drive and dont let your heart rule your head. if somethng dont feel right dont buy it!. the fairlady title is given to jdm models. the uk spec is still a fairlady its just as they are all 300zx's lol
