nope not had any! i use ntl's own firewall virus guard. its very basic but does the job. and its FREE

i got vodka :hyper:. the only thing i could think the could cause blue smoke at startup is the stem seals. what about pcv's they can leak oil into the plenum which could drip into the valve chamber overnight. have you had a check under the balance bar for puddling of oil? whcih could indicate a pcv problem. :)

oh and i do have datascan if that could help in any way. eg check a/f sensors etc. and im only in bournemouth

one cause could be..... did you do the valve stem oil seals ?? leakage overnight into the bores which is burned off in the first few minutes of starting. thought you were a mechanic by trade bud?
