mine has currently been off of the road since october last year when i sheared 6 teeth off of first gera syncro. being so bloody cold i was reluctant to get out in the cold garage. been doing a few things to it while its been off of the road including braided brake lines all round braided clutch line clean and paint the underside of the car and clean and paint under each wheel arch clean and paint rear sub frame in situ to protect not for aesthetics. managed to get hold of a tt gearbox and spent a bit of time swapping the bell housings over and painting it up cleaned and painted calipers all round to continue colour scheme purchased injen intake pipes, have waiting to go on once gearbox is refitted a full unorthodox pulley kit and a set of staggered width 18" alloys, thats about it for the moment. hope the gerabox is ok then its saving time for a full respray and leather trim :)

should hope so for the price!! lol must admit if i was better off i would have nice nuts like that. i will stick to my wrinkly ones for now.

adrian flux and a plan (the specialist import branch) i have been battling the two out since owning my z. the renewals are the worst bit so i sawp between them every year!

im just running a stock clutch in mine with lightweight flywheel, headers,full st/steel performance exhaust and chip going to be unothodox pulleys set mines fine :) and i have checked it after a years usage and its wearing very well!

the oilite bush that it replaces is a self lubricating bush so i am fitting a standard nissan one. i would have assumed that that "bearing" will need to be lubricated at some point.?!

what worries me about the nismo needle bearing one is 1 do they need to be grease prior to refitting the gearbox and two when the grease works out and the needle dry out and collapse they will take out the input shaft wouldn't they??

how ok is the passenger seat. worth selling it cheap :) cough how much would you want for it?

is there a list of the engine sensor max and min voltages, what im intersted in is when i use datascan i obviously can test the outputs of the sensors but what i dont know is what they should be reading under certain conditions. would be good to have a list of the desired readings to determine wheater a sensor is faulty or not. cheers gaz

you guys need to put the daily driver keys away , stop thinking about fuel consumption and or little usage and wait for a summer meet to bring back the passion of the car! when your out in the sun with the roofs off, going to meet like minded people you will fall in love again. i havent used mine since october when i buggered the box. been out to the garage today to try and get the box back in and now have damaged the pilot bush!! i sooo want my z back on the road now but she's too cosy in the garage LOL

that would be good john:yes: i just want a good comparison between my cars output compared to another na with similar mods. the only comparison i could find gave me the figures i quoted thats why i was concerned with the gears mine being in 3rd and the other car in 4th comparing my dynos tho when i first got it was (all run in 3rd) 210 FWHP and 187 FT LBS of torque(mods just air filter) after some maintaince eg new oil,s service and cat back pipes 1 year later 216 FWHP and 189 FT LBS of torque modifying it with decat pipes, st/steel tubular manifolds , chipped ecu,lightweight flywheel. 241 FWHP and 217.73 FT LBS of torque im aiming for 200 whp before i consider other means of power eg nos. have on the way full lightweight underdrive pulley set which will hopefully release some ponies ;)

yes i have . my brother has a mazda mps6 and thats HUGE! makes my z look like an mr2 in comparison:lol:
