  6. On One lesson this instructor was being a bit of an arse he was talking about block changing i.e. 3rd to 5th on a motorway sliproad, So left in second..............WE ARE NOT ON A FUKKIN RUNWAY!!!!!!!!!! 'I Know, but I am just making sure we join at the correct speed in front of the HGV who's is restricted to 60 miles an hour, so that we do not have to change into the middle lane as soon as we get onto the motorway as I cannot judge what the traffic conditions are like behind it due to the bushes on the right of the sliproad. I know it clear infront of him as I was watching for this when we were going around the roundabout. '

  8. Yep I also have this illness, 3mile journey takes about 20-30mins! and when it is also last priority it happens again, Car was off road recently for 1 week and england was playing, I had to miss the first 10 mins to finish off the car, pulled car out of garage (which was a shit tip) only drove outside garage to tidy up and it took 45mins to get out of garage and back onto the driveway!

Hey Andy About 40mins from you m8 (well 30 :D ) I was just pondering doing a water pump replacement but as its on the timing belt I am having second thoughts :o Phoned the place where I normally take it today but never booked it in, If you are interested you could give us a lift m8? Ovbiously some reddies would be involved! Send us a PM if interested m8 (or PM me anyway??) Chin up m8 atb Paul
  17. Cheers Lads ;) I thought it was the water pump (although leaking a bit premature) crank pully has a few drips on the bottom, the steam must have been coming from the pump as it was originally also coming out of the top of the timing belt cover! Just confusing as it looked like top of engine first, Dont know how I'm gonna manage if it is the water pump? Think i'll enquire about a leak tester. Oh and I was'nt sure about there being pressure with this type of coolant system as the expantion bottle is'nt sealed off, I was fully prepared for getting my hand burned but that did'nt happen :o
  18. Unlucky m8 sounds like cylinder problems gutted 4 u chin up paul
  19. I am now compleatly clueless  no more steam even after a few hot runs, just about a half dosen tee spoons worth on my piece of cardboard in morning? must be loosing coolant whilst driving about 3/4 of a litre to top up the next day. Just been out again but after turning off the car after about 3 minutes I took the radiator cap off and no pressure? Is this normal for this water system? anybody?? Cheers Paul
