Did some poking about on here with the search function. Seems the previous owner had posted about this and had set the idle to 750 with the air con on, I had it turned off. Hey presto everything seems to be fine now!

What revs should my auto import TT be ticking over at idle? Problem is this:Car starts perfectly, I pull away, pull up to a junction and brake, revs fall and then engine cuts out/stalls. I went on a run today and once warm it's fine but I pulled into a shop and nipped in, came back car started fine but from initial revs the needle falls and then the car cuts out/stalls, it's as if the engine doesn't catch-could it just be the timing? Any advice greatly received! B

It was me! The yellow one is always there and in fact I have never seen it move! Do you have a local mechanic you use for yours?

Having just got my Z from Corvetteman it is in super condition and there really is nothing I need to do except learn how to drive an auto properly (any tips?) My main question is what general things should I be doing regularly/weekly to keep it in this shape? Thanks in advance, Bob

I am looking at several (all UK) and am wondering about owners approx MPG's Currently looking at a v6 24v auto and a twin turbo manual-all help is gratefully recieved along with any tips for things I should be looking out for on test drives.
