The team at MeisterR offer their deepest condolences to all people affected by Hurricane Harvey. With many people killed and more than 200,000 people left homeless, the Salvation Army are doing all they can to support victims of flooding caused by America’s heaviest rainfall on record. Right now, Salvation Army staff and volunteers are working 24/7 to help communities that have been torn apart by the storm. However, they desperately need funds to help them offer the best support that they can to the hundreds of thousands of people affected. The motoring community is a tight-knit one, and we pride ourselves in helping others in their time of need. MeisterR have created a fundraising page to support the Salvation Army. Please donate what you can: $5, $10, or $50 can help save lives. Donate Here: https://www.gofundme.com/meisterR We will give away a free set of MeisterR ZetaCRD / ZetaCRD+ coilovers to a random donator on September 22, 2017. Trophy Finish for MeisterR at first National Auto-Solo Event
So the past weekend we attended our first National Auto-Solo event. The 2017 Tire Rack College Station Championship Tour, and it was certainly an experience. https://www.scca.com/articles/2005718-2017-tire-rack-college-station-championship-tour-event-recap Our team went into the competition feeling pretty confident, until we went to the grid and check out the competition's cars. The top runners are using the Honda S2000 Club Racer edition, that is a limited run of 699 cars designed with aero package and soft top removed to reduce weight. Only the CR are allow to run without the soft top, as the class rules state what came on the car in factory trim must stay; and looking at their engine bay you can see how well their cars were prepared. Most are using the PasswordJDM carbon fibre intake, and a few cars was running Moton Clubsport 2-way adjustable coilovers; that is only what you can see. In contrasts, we have a pretty standard 2007 Honda S2000 with 90,000 miles on the clock. The only mods were a K&N intake, Invidia exhaust, Eibach front anti-roll bar, and MeisterR ZetaCRD coilovers in our prototype race specification. Even our ECU was standard and unmapped... so you can imagine how our confidence drop "slightly :( " after seeing what we were up against. Most were using the same tyres, the new BFGoodridge Rival S... so that mean we were on even ground at least on that part. But never mind, this is our 1st national event so it was just to see where we sit outside of the Houston region. The STR Class we are competing in have a total of 17 drivers, many are experienced veteran at national event. Our driver is 21 years old Landon Thompson (who is getting a lot of stick up and down the grid because of his age), but it was all good fun. Overall, the competition was great and environment was friendly; but you know it is a competition and people are serious and there to win when you speak with a few. :D So at the end of the two day race, we end up just edging out for a 3rd place trophy finish out of 17 drivers. Considering how under prepared our car was and it’s our first national attempt, we were all very happy about the result. So that is it from MeisterR's team and our first national event, we came home with a blue cap (trophy winner) and a big meal at the end of the day. We will continue to improve the car to bring it to a more competitive trim, and can only hope or better result in the next event. It was a great weekend, just want to share our excitement and our result. :D Jerrick

2017 MeisterR Coilovers pictures and Members Reviews.
New damper valving design to give better ride compliancy and better performance, especially on the stiffer damping adjustment. The new valving will give sharper steering response, as well as better traction, with no affect on ride quality on the softer damping adjustments. Other upgrade include a thicker damper shaft for a stronger strength damper. A UK patent pending locking collar design. Rubber insulated coil springs. And a few other bits... but the biggest thing is the CRD (Close Ratio Damping) engineered by MeisterR at our R&D workshop in Essex. The CRD valving is unique to MeisterR, so that mean no other suspension on the market will have it. Jerrick

The voucher code should work, but it cannot be use in conjunction with the interest free finance option. It is either discount or finance, not both. Therefore if you choose to finance the coilovers, the discount will be automatically removed. Jerrick

2017 MeisterR Coilovers pictures and Members Reviews.
MeisterR made a lot of changes in 2016, and I am sure many of our members have done a lot to their car also. We want to get some fresh update for 2017, and we want to see what members have to say about their MeisterR coilovers. We would like some pictures (with a MeisterR sticker preferred :) ) for our gallery and reviews of the coilovers from members who have used them, both new and old. It would also be easier to have everything under a single thread to aid members doing their own research. So if you have pictures of your car on MeisterR coilovers, please post them and write a short review of what you think of them. 1. Name: (If you want to provide it) 2. Location: (Town or County) 3. Car Make / Model / Specific Info: (Trim / Packages / Other Mods) 4. MeisterR Coilovers Model: (ZetaCRD, ZetaCRD+, GT1 etc) 5. Short Review: a. Performance on Road: b. Performance on Track: c. Value for Money: d. Would you buy again: e. Any Personal Note: 6. Pictures: Please attach any pictures you have of your car that you want to show the world. 7. Video: If you have any video of your car in action on YouTube / Vimeo, please attach link to video. Thank you for everyone's help and I look froward to some pictures and reviews. As usual, we are available if you have any questions; just drop us a PM of there are anything we can help. MeisterR do appreciate everyone's help, and thank you for member's continue support. Meister R suspension owners
The springs are an exposed moving part, open to the elements and stone chips. Unfortunately this can happen over time. We have changed our coating recently in order to improve the durability but to keep cost down there is only so much we would do. It you want something to that lasts longer the cost do go up considerably. For instance Eibach springs have a good reputation but their springs are 2.5 time more than MeisterRs. The springs are still functional and so long as they are not creaked or broken they are safe. Whilst are not covered in the 12 month warranty as they are not defective, please drop us an email with your details and we'll see if we can offer you something to help. If anyone has questions about MeisterR products please drop us a PM or email info@meisterr.co.uk. We are here to help where we can and be as fair as possible. Edwin

UK Drift Champion explains MeisterR Coilovers adjustments
Yep, for most of the guys losing traction and getting in to the drift is the easy part. Getting traction and moving the car during the drift is the difficult part. Especially for track like Knock Hill where you have to power and push yourself into the apex of the second corner. If your suspension is rock hard, it won't find the traction and you end up in the gravel... extremely common with beginners. Jerrick

UK Drift Champion explains MeisterR Coilovers adjustments
Those who have watch this will know that this video was just a bit of a light hearted joke. :) However, it seems there might be some genuine interests in this topics. So if you guys want me to make an actual technical article on suspension adjustments, let me know and I'll pull something together. It will be longer than a minute and probably be a lot more boring. But if you are interested let me know. Jerrick

MeisterR owners - come forth and discuss!
Wow, didn't even see this until just now, everyone having a good Christmas. First, if you have a problem with MeisterR, that is why I am here… contact me. :) Couple thing I see on this thread so I'll list out some info in no particular order: 1. If your wheel isn't drooping, check the pre-load. It is possible to wind the pre-load up to the point where the car do not droop, then lower the ride height using the lower bracket. Why would anyone do that? I have no idea, but one good reason why the wheel isn't drooping. Check pre-load, make sure it has no more than 2mm because that is all you need on the Z32. 2. Stiff ride. We had an issue like this before and it was pre-load on the bush. When you lower the ride height, you "should" slack off all the bush then torque them down at the new static ride height. We had a Z32 before where all the bush was (pre-tensioned), and therefore it was actually restricting the suspension movement. This lead to a stiff ride especially over small suspension movement on uneven roads. 3. Not sure what you have? Take a picture and E-mail us, we will help you identify what it is. Some suspension could be past it's best, but if you have a problem contact us. Again, we are here to help. Got a problem, E-mail us at info@meisterr.co.uk Jerrick

Enkei 2016 Prices and discount coming soon
The simple answer is… nope. :( Enkei is a very Japanese company, and basically they work on the "Either we have it or we don't". Forget about a new casting face, even getting it in a different colour is crazy difficult. Realistically the only way for it to happen is the 8.5J ET22 front, and the 9.5J ET42 rear. Or go 18" with the 9J ET35 front and 10J ET38 rear Jerrick

Expect price to drop across the board from the current RRP. We will also offer discount to forum members. As always, £0 down 0% interests free financing is also available. MeisterR vs. Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers
Just to post up the latest update on this. Lucio have finish 1st place at Race 10 also. As you notice, there is only 3 competitors this round because they are the main challenger to the championship. With this 1st place finish, Lucio will lead into Race 11 and Race 12 on December 5th/6th at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Houston. However, it will be very tight as there is less then single place worth of points between the 3 competitors. So who ever do the best in the next two rounds will take home the championship trophy as no one has a big lead at all. We will report back with some news, hopefully it will be gold but there are no guarantee in racing. Jerrick

MeisterR Coilovers improvement around the Nurburg Ring?
The latest episode from the Ring Banana is out… and talk about shocking (Pun intended). We all know that tyres has one of the biggest influence on the performance of a car, as they are the only thing that touches the ground. The Ring Banana set the base lap time of 9:21 around the Nurburg Ring, then knock 22 seconds off to 8:59 by changing out the 10 years old tyres to a set of semi-slick tyres. The goal of getting a sub 9 minutes lap around the Nurburg Ring with the 90 hp Mazda Miata / MX-5 was shattered on the first try. In an interests to find out how much difference will just the MeisterR coilovers make, they install the coilovers, do the alignment, and put the 10 years old road tyres back on for another go. We expected maybe a 10 seconds improvement, but nothing prepare us for the 27 seconds improvement that the coilovers provided! That is a 8.54 lap around the Green Hell with a set of 10 years old road tyres!!! Shocking performance from the new shocks! :) Full in car lap video can be found here: Jerrick

traders feed back section ?
My personal opinion. I would suggest a system with positive feedback only. It would remove the negative aspect of this sort of idea. Edwin
