  1. look in th traders section mark :)
  2.
  3. mac are u hinting at something??
  4. it's only interesting if a company not affiliated to 300zx.co.uk quoted more for a 200 than a 300 or you simply don't understand/accept the fact that th quote for a 300 from houghton is discounted
  5. would it make you happy if Houghtons made an exception and insured you as a non-member, just so that you can pay more and stay in-line with your theory? personally, i really don't care how much my insurance on a 300 compares to any other car as long as i can get it as cheap as possible
  6. "are we doin a deal or are we doin a deal!"
  7. agree completely with ryan why hasn't th seller claimed back the value of the goods from the post office, I'm assuming they would have been valuable and so sent special delivery right.
  8. arnt TB22's stock tubs? if thy are thy wont flow any more air than standard tubs with boost controller (efficiently anyway)
  9. stock shocks with lowering springs is definatley a harder ride than a complete stock set up but i havnt been in an uprated shocks and springs setup so i cant compare to that. u pretty much feel every bump in th road in my car and i aint very good at going fast round corners (which is why my car was very poorly) so cant tell you anything about handling. whers all th guys who know everthin bout everythin? lol
  10. i know mine has lowering springs on stock shocks, dnt think thr wud be a problem. how did ur insurance hunt get on bud? yas
  11. hmmm... am not so sure bout tht matt if thy are asking you if your aware of any modifications then thy surely cant penalise you if didnt actually know if ur car had any. anyway, iv never seen an insurance inspection engineer pop th hood of a car or even ask to get inside. hey th last asshole that came to inspect mine dint even have th common courtesy to knock on th door and say hes here, only found out cos a week later one of my neighbours said she saw some man walkin round my car and making notes.
  12. thy wont insure any1 under 25 on anthin 2.0L or above so there out th window. stop gloating chris and stay on topic
  13. i was just wondering what would happen if you didnt declare any mods based on th fact that u wernt aware of any i mean, all th insurers ask "are you aware of any modification that have been carried out on th vehicle?" what would happen if you simply said "no" and pleaded ignorance if you ever had to make a claim and got caught out? obviously some mods are more blatant than others and you wdnt get away with not declaring bodykits and alloys (unless you kept a spare stock set just in case). but wot about, for example, engine internals? or turbos? what do you guys reckon? yaseen
  14. great news! th cars well on its way to full recovery, had a good drive in it this weekend. a million miles apart from driving th bloody 1.0 corsa courtesy car. gone back into garage to have th suspension fine tuned and as soon as its out its gonna be for sale (got my eyes on another beauty) sorry bout th crap pic but it was gettin kinda dark when i decided id better take it back lol if anyones interested, make me an offer, im lookin for bout £3000 iv spent quite abit gettin th car repaired and i only did it because th car jus aint bad enough to break. if i dont get close to what i want then il have no option but to take it apart. i can see th vultures beginning to circle...
  15. i was talkin to scottywil the other day and Hyperformance told him thy dont insure imports and thy wont be renewing his policy cos thy dint know it was an import when he first insured it. dnt think hel be too pleased to read this
  16. yeh its modded, only exhaust and induction tho am insured with tesco 1500 tpft, but my mums policy holder and im a named driver, got my own insurance on a banger to build no claims. was quoted 1373 by adrian flux th other day, tpft as policy holder and im 21 in a fortnight and have 1 yr ncb, so alot better than it was
  17. for an NA id say thats a good price but then ur car has pretty much brand new paintwork so its hard to tell yas
  18. piesoup, my cars for sale, dont know if uv seen th ad u lookin for UK cars only? mines a TT import and im 20, insurance is a pain but 1500 aint bad for my age
  19. nice one ryan interesting, helps a little but it doesnt really elaborate on th function or the advantages of BB over journal bearings
  20. was jus doin a bit of reading on th Garrett GT range of turbos which are ball bearing turbos (from what i understood). what wasnt clear to me is do garrett use ball bearing in place of journal and bearings? do thy still use normal thrust bearings? yaseen
  21. oooooooooo i see it now! lol!
  22. can i have a clue??
  23. no idea bro but from what he told me you could get away with a classic policy on a unmodified zed at 21, if its modded then 23 minimum. even then its not guranteed, differs from person to person. yaseen
