  6. David that does look good but the problem is the bonnet bulge on my car is totally flush by the time it hits the front of the bonnet :(
  7. cheers guys. I was thinking 3 too, but was just concerned about water getting on the intake.
  8. Morning, Looking at modding a nose panel so the lines flow with the bonnet bulge. Got 3 ideas so far and just wanted opinions, 1,2 or 3? :) Vijay
  9. easy to wire up, the relay for the interior light is under the rear side panel, I can tell you which wire if you need to know :)
  10. so your original petrol tank was removed to fit a large LPG tank then?
  11. how many miles would a tank get you?
  12. Hi, I'm looking at buying a Mitsubishi Challenger (Shogun sport) and was looking at getting a diesel mainly cos of the petrol costs. One thing I just thought of is getting a petrol one and getting it converted to LPG. Anyone drive an LPG vehicle or have any thoughts on it? Cheers Vijay
  13. Sorry to hear that mate, losing a pet is like losing a member of your family :(
  14. remembered this post http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=85816&highlight=trade+insurance problems may arise if you ever have to claim and then prove you've been trading :(
  15. Cheers Pete, Got your number already but can't call you tonight cos I'm out. When's another good time to call? Vijay
  16. that's an idea but I'd have to hire a van to get the tailgate to them and pick it up
  17. and I really don't know what I'm doing so maybe give the 2 pack stuff a miss!! lol Might have to do that but just would have prefered to get it all done before it went in to be sprayed :(
  18. or even better, how easy is it to mix up 2 pack paint as there's a compressor there with a spray gun
  19. Guys, can I have a step by step on the best way of doing this i.e do I sand between coats and if so what grade? How many coats of each paint would you suggest? And is there a right aerosol paint to use? The problem I have is my car will be put on a trailer and brought to a paintshop once the last bits (spoiler and headlight panel mainly) are finished hence I need to fit the spoiler before it goes to the paintshop :( Thanks Vijay
  20. Would I get away with using single pack aerosol sprays underneath the spoiler? Etch primer then normal primer then a topcoat?
  21. One more thing, the boot is bare metal at the moment and I assume it's best to etch prime it first before I stick the spoiler on with Sikaflex? Vijay
  22. thanks guys. It's just that I'm looking for a Mitsubishi Challenger and they don't seem to be too local. I'd want my mechanic to look over it as I don't really know them too well yet but have never bought a motor from Ebay ;)
