indiglo gauges - opinions needed.
A massive thank you to Jaz, Nigel and Trev for getting these faces to look as good as they do!!! I need peoples opinions on what we would like now. I know we are going to have different speedo's depending on Jap or UK but I'm looking to get a UK (mine:D ) done first to check it out. Trev has done the changes to the speedo's as per Tim's comments and here's how they now look. I would appreciate any comments about any changes we might like done. I will be speaking to him about have the boost and oil pressure blanked out, so if we could leave that for now.

went to another branch of Halfords and again not listed. The lady there checked on the computers and they stock their own brand but do not have the Bosch ones listed for a 300. Does anyone know the codes by any chance? Cheers Vijay

Hello guys, Am I right in saying that I can connect 2 pc's via the USB ports? Is it a special cable? Thanks Vijay

I thought using any sort of radiator flush was bad for the heater matrix:confused:  Vijay

I did look at the bosch ones, but they didn't list them for a 300. I'll go to another branch and see. Thanks for the tip James. Cheers Vijay

do a quick search and you'll see people use most of the common well known brands. I use Mobil 1 peronally. Vijay

indiglo gauges
If I'm right, it won't really matter if it's a series 1 or 2 fitment. I've looked at another instrument panel and it seems as though as long as the bottom 2 locations pins are used and the face is glued in the middle, then they should be fine - can anyone confirm that??? Secondly, We will have to mount an LED to work as the "low petrol" light as I don't think the lamp will shine through. I don't see that as a major issue as an LED can be mounted in the gray plastic front cover and should look OK (it would be easy to wire up to the bulb holder). Vijay

indiglo gauges
Stuart, the problem I would have is trying to convince him to make a small amount. He's having a bit of an issue cos when I first spoke to him, I mentioned larger numbers that I've got (oops)  I'll see what I can do though. The only problem I see is he'll have to take them off the production line at some point before the holes are cut. Again I'll speak to him and see what he says. Vijay

Peanut oil is the nutz!!!!!
Warren mentioned it in a post earlier this week how good the stuff is on the plastic, well I'm really impressed. I got my mum to bring me back some from the U.S and just tried it, it works a treat (I'm just full of puns:D :D ) Even on the plastic near the battery, nothing has ever got that black - well this stuff does!!! indiglo gauges
I don't see a major problem having the "Z" logo on the tacho. All I would say is that we have to kinda all agree on what we want. What exactly would you want on the covered gauges? Would you just want it completely blank or something written in it's place? would you want it lit up? and what would you do with the needles? Vijay
