There's been posts about this before and IIRC, if you have an auto you'll have more chance that you've done no damage ;) Wish you luck :) Vijay
  8. Just checked, not the wire on the side :( but thanks anyway ;)
  9. Hi Danny, I think it's more of a case of trying to rescue the group buy from ages ago. I wish I never bought the original ones as I've only put them on my car 6 months or so ago and it's been a pain. My lights have already been butchered and if I had the spare money I'd buy new lamps and HIDS to fit. Vijay
  10. you can get them in various lengths from Cpc.co.uk :) Vijay
  11. lol, I'll be back up there tomorrow cos he wants to show me the job that was done on my lovely Stillen bumper - NOT :( I'll ask him what sort of price for a straight job (without "extras" ;) ) Vijay
  12. Just been messing with this again and it only seams to have a problem when the bulb is hot :( Boldy, did you have any luck?? And does anyone know if we have projector lamps or not? Cheers Vijay
  13. certainly have bud :)
  14. Anyone know the difference between D2R and D2S lamps?? OK, D2R is for a non projector headlamp and D2S is for a projector type - so whic do we have?? Cheers Vijay
  15. Cheers bud, sounds like I bought the same ones as you from the group buy a few years back http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27185 I don't think I have that problem though as everthing's removed and on on my kitchen work surface :( It's deffo that bulb as I can swap everthing else over and it only does it with that bulb :( Just don't really want to spend more money on these P.I.A lights :( Vijay
  16. Hi, While I've got the headlamps out I thought I'd look at at annoying problem I've had since putting in some H.I.D lamps. One bulb only come on 50% of the time and it's deffo the bulb and not the ballast or holders. Can anything be done with the bulb or does it have to be replaced?? If so are they all the same fittings and where's the cheapest place to get a bulb?? Cheers Vijay
  17. sure they're individual :) Vijay
  18. Jay, if you were with Pipex Homecall then your broadband would have actually been supplied by Tiscalli. I couldn't agree more though, they're a bit of a joke! :( Vijay

  22. IIRC Mike Feeney sells the Stillen gear :) Vijay
  23. No probs bud. IIRC the difference from the Jap and UK bulbs in the earth. On a jap car the connector has a + and - connector (2 prongs on the bulb) which is picture 1. On a UK car, the bulb is eathed by the headlight housing itself so you can use normal H3 bulbs (single connector wire which is +). All you have to do is run the - wire from the connector (picture 1) and connect it to the headlamp unit which is easily done by undoing the small screw that secures the bulb holder (wire cage bit) and either using a small eyelet (crimped) or wrap the waire around the screw (under the cage bit) and re-tighten. That will provide a normal H3 bulb and earth. How's that? :) If you don't get it, PM me and I'll send you my mobile number ene iof you're a gooner! lol :) Vijay
