Wiring LED's
OK, back to this again. What size resistor would I need if I had 4 of these LED's in series and 3 LED's in series? Cheers Vijay

Alloy wheel refurb problem :(
The frezzer trick worked a treat, shrunk the cap by about a mill and it popped right in. As I thought though, it's really tight so would be a nightmare to remove if I had a puncture :(

Alloy wheel refurb problem :(
Well I just picked up my wheels and pleased to say I'm happy with the actual alloys this time :) The only problem I still have is one centre cap is still tight :( He said he put the minimal amout of paint on the centre cap fitting and hoped it would "pop" back in when the wheel is warm. Any ideas? Cheers Vijay

Which DVD or Hard Disc Recorder?
the thing with the Sagem is you can't record 2 channels at the same time ;)

Which DVD or Hard Disc Recorder?
Bought a Humax twin tuner recorder(you can record 2 channels and watch another/something you're recorded). Absolutely brilliant bit of kit and so glad I bought it. The only niggle is that it updates the programme guide everytime you turn it on from standby so if you want to record something in a hurry, you have to wait a couple of minutes which is no real biggy. You also get the software to connect it to a PC via a USB cable so you can transfer films/music/photos so putting stuff onto a dvd/cd is pretty straight forward :) Vijay

Alloy wheel refurb problem :(
cheers guys. Good news is when I went up there the original guy that I met when I took the wheel in to be repaired was there. Straight away he said he would re-do them himself. He couldn't/wouldn't give an explanation as to what all the marks were but just said it was in the alloy wheels - yeah right! :( Fingers crossed next week they'll look right otherwise I'll put it in writing to them :) Cheers Vijay

Alloy wheel refurb problem :(
Hi all, To say I'm fed up with people saying they can do "perfect" jobs and then expecting me to be happy with poor results it's starting to get to me :( The paintshop doing my car ended up saying that the wheels were not part of the job after spraying them but coming out far from perfect so I took them to the company that repaired a dent in my front alloy a few months back. When I went there, they told me that they would be perfect, 100% so happily left them my wheels a week ago to be done. I picked them up Saturday and the first thing I noticed was a pin hole and loads of specs where there must have been dust or particle of something under the paint before they were baked. I asked about it and was told that I would only get a perfect wheel if I brought them in a perfect wheel. Mistakenly I paid them and brought my wheels home. I looked at them all again and there are these specs in places on all the wheels and some marks. The other thing is the centre caps don't fit anymore, they're just too tight!!!! I'm gonna call them tomorrow to see what they say but I have a feeling they're gonna say it's not down to them. If they do, where do I stand legally cos I've really had enough of people wasting my time :xxx: Any idea why the centre caps would be too tight? All I can imagine is they've putway too much paint on :wack: Thanks Vijay

Watching streaming video
Evening, A friend has shown me a way of watching the footie on the nest but the problem is if I enlarge the viewing screen I lose the quality. Would a better video card sort that out or is that down to the fact that it's live from the net? Vijay

Wiring LED's
used this to work it out :( http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz So 200 OHM is the one to use for 5 LEDS connected in Series?????
-
Wiring LED's
Right, it's gonna be 15 rows of 5 LEDS wireed in series. The LED details are: Reverse voltage 5.0v DC forward voltage Typical 1.9v Max2.3v DC froward current 20ma According to the link AndyP put up I need 56OHM resistor for 12v or 150OHM for 14v, so which do I use?
