  11. No, just smokes like hell when idling blue/white, clouds of it, said to me just a pipe each side of engine needs replacing, oil feed pipes, this sound true to you?
  12. What time did you see him, left plymouth (he said) 12pm. Sounds like the one that came down to swap with a car i got for sale, black, jap spec, big multi spoke alloys, shit high with salt ? Suprised he didnt stop off at yours paul, was smoking like hell when sat ticking over, told me it was just the oil pipes needed changing, does that sound right to you Paul or is it shagged??
  13. Sorry to hear that mate, i knew them auto's where dangerous to the wallet... There is a z in RPB breakers cattledown which is auto, there prices aint bad either..
  14. Converter i bought worked perfect when wired it to the correct wire second time round, yes first time upset the hicas !!
  15. Had a go at cleaning it today.. was like cleaning a dirty wall using a pressure washer!! Gave it a quick polish too! Aint to bad, couple areas have not come up graet but better than they were. Aint got it started yet though, got a fuel problem, pump definatly not working as tested it out the car, but not getting power from control unit so changed it for a known good one still nothing, so might be a simple fuse, lol ! Sorry bout the pic too!

  18. Well......... dispite the warnings !!! I have gone and bought it....... :shock: It was to wide to go on the trailer we borrowed, so ended up towing it.. The engine wont start as no fuel getting through, whether it's the pump or control unit,fuse or relay i don't know yet. Whilst towing, the brakes worked a bit and the clutch may be ok as i put it in gear and it was spinning the engine over. Here are a couple of pics
