Trying to advise my pal mikeyh on the forum the cheapest way for more bhp, so far he's ordered japspeed decats and divorced down pipes but he wants more boost on the cheap, I advised a greddy profec b but as he's a tight ass I said about the mig welding tips and a chip! Sooo my question is can anybody recommend a decent chip? If I remember rite I think a jd chip was the one to have... Feel free to correct and advise the best place to get one. Seriously considering buying another zed after driving my friends alexgt's old car, it would have to be a swb preferably slick top but not overalls fussed if it's got targas. Won't actually have any money until about a months time as I'm waiting on my house sale to go through so just wanna see what's out there and for what money cheers

Check all the wires going into the relay box in the engine bay, put the lights on and give some of the wires a wiggle or tug see if anything happens?

I personally think they are one the best jdm type alloys on the market, id love a set but they cost mega bucks!

Dave i think you should just bite the bullet and have the kids, turn the situation around to your advantage and show them a really good time while their mum is away, kids aint stupid and as they become older im sure the will have their own opinion on thier mum's behaviour, speaking from experiance the relationship i had with my dad when i was a kid seemed ok at the time but now im an adult i make my own choices and i can say i have very little respect for him now with regards to his responsibilites as a parent.

Its basically there to protect your engine, if it detects det or the sensor is damaged/faulty then it will put the car into safety boost/limp mode to stop the problem happening until it is fixed, some people choose to bypass it but i personally think its stupid idea

you can buy a proper bung from ebay etc and then put some tight jubilee clips around it, and yes the screw adjusts the opening pressure

I dont expect gettin the back wheels spinning from dropping the clutch will cause it much harm other than tyres and clutch, but doing that whilst pushing down on the brakes will put a huge strain on the gearbox,engine,propshaft,diff etc............i cant say ive never done a burnout but id never do it for more than a few seconds because your asking for problems!

My old zed used to do this, even in the winter i would be sweating like a dyslexic on countdown.

I think you are rite saying that but my friend has only had the car for 4 months so its a long while till half the car is paid off

I've got a friend (deffo not me) who has taken out finance on a car after I strongley advised not to, now this person realy does not want this car anymore and has been asking me ways to get rid of the car without paying for it anymore, one of the ways I suggested if the car was 'stolen' but this person doesn't want thier premiums goin up! So if another car were to hit the financed car to write it off what would be payed off? ........p.s I personaly am having nothing to do with this, just a friend has asked for my opinion
