and if i can bin it,can i throw away rad as well?

the big rad ,do i need it?

What dose this rad do or supply air to and do i need it? not the water one .the other rusty air blocker do?

the radiator behind the water one dose this need to come out if taken out engine?

I am at the moment in process of taken engine out of car, has anybody here taken out there air con out,and left it out?

Sorry to here that bud like everone says, try to stay freinds its got to be easyer in the long run, when my last relationship had run its corse we split up.everything was done without to much agro,and as for the devorce try to get everything sorted out first,the more outside interfaerence will result in more trouble, in the end i done the devorse myself and never once did we see a money exploiting solicitor,i done everything myself and whole process cost me approx 350 quid.Online and only went down the cout twice to get whittness statements signed and sworn and didnt cost a penny, good luck and if you need info then emial me, ill point you in the right direction. sinclair26@btinternet.com

Im still lookin for some good strips to fit but they got to look right, as i dont want them to look cheap,if done right i think thye look good.

Yer i need to replace tubs due to oil seals gone on one.as much as i would love to i can not afford to pay someone,so goin alone,i might start tallying up hours.

you took your engine out, are you a mechanic and if not did you do on your own , how did you find it?

Jesus,i have taken the rad of draned the water drained the oil then started on the top wiring.jesus theres mo0re vacum pipes than dysons hoover factory and as for wiring it took me an hour to chase bake and lable 12 wires,still in for a penny in for a pound.

Takr of the or undo the sterring for the engine out or can i advoid?

I am in the starting stages of removing the engine,but a silly question is needed i feel. Iam now ready to remove alternater and belts ect,but my question is is this needed for clearence, because im thinking later when im lifting out im thinking im only going to replace tubs so is all this ness work. what say you?

I an now going to take all fuel out of car because of engine out job. on fist illistration it says as follows. 1. Remove the driver's kickpanel, 2 screws are in the side of the panel, 2 are in the firewall, the last one is under the carpet by the dead pedal (5 x phillips). Remove the first two screws of the door jamb's plastic trim (2 x phillips). The kickpanel interlocks with the front edge of the door jamb trim. Disconnect the fuel pump relay (bright green in my '95) in the driver's kickpanel (1.). 2. Unscrew the gas cap to remove any residual tank pressure. Start the engine & let it run until it stalls, crank it over a few more times to relieve all the fuel pressure. 3. Reconnect the fuel pump relay. Replace the kick panel. DO NOT turn the key to ON, it will run the fuel pump and try to repressurize the system. 4. Put towels under the fuel filter to catch any gasoline. No smoking or any other flamable activity while doing this! I can't believe I need to put a disclaimer in there like this. 5. Loosen the fuel hose clamps (2 x phillips). Use a straight screwriver & pry the fuel lines off the old filter (2.). Be careful if the lines have retained any residual pressure not to get sprayed with gasoline. 6. Remove the filter from the holding bracket (1 x 10mm). Remove the towels from the engine bay. 7. Install new filter with the flat side facing the engine. Reconnect the bracket (1 x 10mm) & fuel lines. Tighten the clamps about 3mm from the end of the hoses (2 x phillips). Torque to 0.7-1.1 ft-lbs. OK MY CAR IS MAN TT 1990.AND I CANT SEE THE BIG GREEN RELAY WHERE THE ILLISTRATION SAYS ITHOUGHT IT WAS THE ONE UNDER THE BONNET BUT IF I WAS TO TAKE THIS OUT I CANT START THE CAR. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I JUST LEAVE THIS IN ,START CAR UNTIL IT CUTS OUT. BECAUSE THE BATTERYS OF NEXT ANYWAY?

Im going to have a go removing the engine out myself. Got all the time in the world,so no rush, Why to save about a thousand pound labour. My question is, is there an idiot proof or naerly guide to replacment for turbos. CHEERS

on the subject of headlights i have fitted a front spoiler to my zed and didnt want to spoil it parden the pun so i have fitted two crome lookin bulbs that flash amber of witch mactch the chrome inserts for indicators,and are now in the process of fitting pos a strip of 48 little leds {white) for side lights. when done ill put up pick. i think they look good on the r8

Can the brake set up dics a clalipers ect from the 350 fit the 300 if you have 18in wheels, or is it to much work?
