  1. You get safe sex and all the colours man:rofl:  Seriously though the 300 is a bit of a b**ch in the wet never mind the ice and snow because of the amount ot power and the aggressive manor in which it lays its power down. Isn't that why we love em so much. Its like a fiesty woman they are great in the bedroom but when you've got a hangover and don't want to do anything man they're a pain, but which would you rather have. it goes with the territory.
  2. Don't it make you want to cry:rofl:
  3. I must admit I've had this problem myself on LSD. I was sure I was doing 50 and I wasm't even in the car:rofl:
  4. Na it said 50/50 girls and boys. Anyway I only threw it in for a laugh, but what if there are any p**fs in the club. Just because I don't agree with the sexual persuasion don't mean I disagree with there choice of cars and it is a car club after all. I think the Beeb are being naughty if they place such a criteria especially when dicky back riding is a yardstick as to how many plumb job's you get at the Beeb
  5. 350Z gets what 260-280 bhp depending on spec from 3.5 litres??? Surely it should be making at least 350bhp? ;) [/b] Reading latest Banzi mag and Gready in the states have twin turboed a 350Z and only been able to get 315bhp out of it. I also read that Nissan were going to use this engine as the basiss of the R35 GTR and because the thing keeps blowing up and braking front half shafts they have had to put it back by 3yrs as they pronounced that the new R35 GTR would be a 450bhp supercar. P.S. if its not a renault engine how come Nissan have lost the nack of building a good motor that doesn't look just like the same motor that was in the Renault spider. Wasn't that 260bhp
  6. P.S Looking at club user policy-bla bla no sexually discriminating material etc. "studio audience must be 50/50." does that mean every body must swing both ways or is there a sexual equality issue here. After all I aint kissing no fella's and thats that and nobody plats with my joystick unless I like her. Are you sure the beeb said this.
  7. I'm up for this with my good lady. She likes to keep an eye on me. Besides I haven't met any of you yet. Will this be the last event I want to attend?:D Or the last you want me to.
  8. I just spent alot more than that on my Mrs, but she keeps coming back. You just carn't get relyable hitmen at all these days. Merry Christmas and good luck to everybody for the new year
  9. Who's accounts? Mr Nissan (Renault)? There going to tell you that the new 350z quicker because they've got a shed load of em to shift. Personaly I think the new 350z with it's renault technology is a poor replacement and I know Clarkson thinks the same. It doesn't matter how much you dress it up it's always going to be an ugly duckling and if I was going to spend £30,000 on a new motor I'm afraid it would have to be a Noble. Unless I could get a delivery milage 300zx of course:D P.S. I agree the auto would have made a cleaner start.

Obviously you've been sniffing petrol again. I've even seen a 2+2 with hard top don't know if it was ever a prodution model, but if it wasn't it was well done.

It has high alcohol content so as not to freeze at high altitude. (S**t thats one of those facts that stick in your head and never comes up at pub quizes) Best fuel saving device? You could push your car everywhere and get fit at the same time. Hell everybody else on this forum are trying to get more petrol through their motors as fast as possible. F**k the enviroment I want fun what ever it costs.

Don't be softy Adam. I know you've spent shed loads on that Black lump of yours and not got your desired effect, but I think it's a bit of retro thinking thats required to make 500bhp reality and Dave at dp has his head up his bottom at the mo trying to make his business a business. You need a fresh head to look at it. I think you've got the mechanicals right + some bits not needed. You need to tune what you got and you'll reach Utopia. Other wise you'll buy an RX7 and spend, spend, spend and when your ex Z blows you away because its new owner sorted it you'll be p***ed off. By the way girls and people who carn't drive drive need four wheel drive to go fast and have a chance of staying on the termac. Real men drive rear wheel drive because they can.:D
  14. Just buy bigger intercoolers or drive through puddles, maybe have bracket mounted on the bumper with a big bucket of water with small holes in it.:D
  15. Firstly before anybody quibbles with me I posted my £20 on Monday and expect to be a paid up member A.S.A.P. The point has already been made quite eloquently by many that the value of information alone is worth a poxy £20. For people like me that live out in the sticks with all the hairy backs, it's vital. We all know that most garages are clueless when it comes to looking after these machines properly. Eg some insist you gotta take the lump out to change the Turbo's others say Gearbox. One way means 9 out of 10 times new wirring loom is required (Which incidently means more dosh for the garage and an horrendous bill). Some say you can do this and that to get more power others disagree. What I'm aiming at is that if we have a one mark club, info should be pooled. That means no holding back so you might have the edge come a track day. Keeping the mark going and having fun is the whole point surely. We work to help ourselves have more fun and less days in the garage or crawling to our wives and bank managers. I have some ideas myself as follows 1) That we sort out club approved garages and support them, but have agreed methods of doing jobs thus keeping cost to a minimum. 2) We have a car grading system and valuation program for club owned cars. 3) A club car data base so history is recorded. This will add value to our cars and bring insurance cost down. 4) We know the cars and there short falls. so any idea to improve should be put forward and if we get enough takers we can get stuf made. ie the light kits (which although a good idea I think has been waisted energy because Luke is making his own and I'm also in the process of importing proper HID convertion Kit's for about £200) If the three of us had got together in the first place we'd have the best of all three at the best price. Ive a list of practical ideas to reduce repair cost but we have to be on board and pool ideas so we don't have us all spending money in different directions. Then we'll have more dosh, more time and better reliability to enjoy those social gatherings. I'm all for it and if it works I'd pay £50 a year. P.S. Will somebody help AdamR get his motor sorted so he don't sell it. PPS Adam I think Dave at dp has lost his enthusiasum for our Z's mate.
  16. Sorry! I was talking about the indicators. Still for sale though
  17. Vent you bonnett if your want to let the heat out for those summer traffic jams. I'm going to get a second bonnett to have vented and use just in the summer.
  18. Got Volvo 850 T5 R so the Z stays home and everybody else worries about being hit by the loony in the big red Volvo estate.:D
  19. Sorry to say this Chris but if its a pet you want Do not get a spinger they F*****g nuts and don't settle down until they are about 5yrs of age. I know from experience. These dogs are bread for one purpose alone and they must be well schooled and worked hard or they will wreck the joint. They are not great with kids either. They'll chase anything and I mean anything, From cats, birds, cars, sheep infact the one my outlaws had chased 2 sheep off a cliff and somehow survied. Chased a bird that was flying and ran through a greenhouse and demolished it chased a cat into an antique shop and destroyed it. Talk to a breader mate, they are mad. Get a lab or Newfoundland or great dane or even a cockerspanial if you want a pet, but, and I mean it , don't get a spinger unless you know what your doing.
  20. Hi mate are they for standard fitting. beause I've got a pair of the crysyal indicator lenses and coloured bulbs. I've put a 99spec bumper on and they no longer fit so make me an offer. Does anyone know if they make a crystal indicator lense for the 99 spec bumper? as the standard ones are sh**e.;)
  21. Cheers VinZ I'd just like to echo that sentiment. that sentiment. sentiment:rofl: Merry ChriZtmas everybody Have a Good one
  22. Hi mate Sorry to here about and see your car, but it's not too bad and at least you got the guys insurance details. My Z was hit by an arsehole in stolen VW golf. He lost it on a bend and hit me three quarter on smashing the front bumper fogs etc then bounced up and landed on the bonnett and n/s wing. To add insult to injury he then reversed over the bonnett righting off the n/s wing, headlamp and bonnett and also the aircon condencer. Then drove off. The Police never found him and I had to claim off my own insurance and as a result it goes down as a blame worthy accident. Pissed off? you'd better believe it. The car was in a one condition but no body mods. Thats all changed now as a result and she looks an absolute Peach now. I even changed the colour. When I get my membership access I'll post some pic's, but I'm not telling any of you guys what the colour No is it's unique:dance: So I hope you told your insurance company of any mods etc because the are fickle b***ards. Good look. Remember the Phoenix arose from the ashes:D (I don't mean burn it just make it better)
  23. Hi chaps How about a note for good dealers or even putting together a list of recomended dealers and Repair specialists. I bought a Volvo 850 T5 from Paradice Auto's in Chester as a winter car. The prices was right and only one owner from new. Full sevice history and in imac condition. After two days I was covinced that it wasn't running properley. The turbo just didn't seem to kick in. I told them and they took the car and started to fix it. they lent me a car and though a bit tatty was road worthy and ment that the Z wasn't called upon. They ended up replacing the intercooler, Hosing, Actuator, dump valve and reconed the turbo all on warrenty and the car is flying. (265bhp for real in'it)The cost of the repair was £500 ish more than I payed for the car. There was no quibbling and the guy there just said "look sometimes even we get bitten but you bought a car in good faith and we sold the same. So if there's something wrong we'd better get it fix for you". That's exactly what they did. To be honest I was amazed. The local unfriendly Nissan Dealer needed a threat of legal action to fix the Patrol I bought Brand New from them even though it was under Warrenty and only 2yrs old. Total time for paradice to fix and return Volvo 1and 1/2 weeks. Nissan Dealer 6 months. By the way the Nissan Dealer was Hartwells and they also scratched the wings of my Z when servicing it because they didn't use covers and refused to pay for repairs.
  24. Hi Chaps Wow you chaps really make this thing swing (litterally) we can all bet on who will slug it out and the winnings go to the club. I'm sending my membership fee in the post staight away. This is the best club have seen in years, "is it wood or plastic"? whoops that might have been a spoon. Anyway whats this about a Karting day. I know a few people that own good outdoor circuits. LLany Gors (I think thats how you spell it. I only live in Wales) is one of the best if not the best. Up hill and down dale 1.7klm I think. Anyway it bloody big and reasonabley demanding. Cracking Forum and I even own a Z. So can I cum please:bow:
