I've got some pics of this Skyline fully kitted up with Vailside kit off their web site. Looks realy cool. Much nicer than the 350Z. It's a bit longer than the 350z as it a proper 2+2. However it is not the basis for the New GTR as previously stated. That will be a stand alone model and will not share a monocock with anyother model. The book times are for newish cars serviced and maintained by the dealer. (providing they actualy have any mechanics) The only expedition my Z ever took to the Nissan dealer was when I first bought the car 3 yrs ago for a hose to be replaced. they said it would be ready by 16.00 and I duley turn up to find some halfwit with half the engine out. No wing covers, screws nuts and bolts all over the place. At the end of which they presented me with a bill for £800. I didn't pay though. In the end I sent them a bill for £2000 which is what it cost me to get it sorted. Wouldn't touch a dealer with a barge pole

With the amount of variable involved such as speed, trajectory, inertia, driver reaction times etc the car could just as easily missed the piller and hit the amco and skipped of either to spin down the road. Pinball of either side or a million other variables and all might have walked away. No if you where going to do them in you'd make sure they where going to die and no questions asked. Like so many have allready said if she and Dildo had been wearing seat belts she'd still be anoying us Today. Still walking round with a face like a smacked arse. Hey I've driven Elise as well all on the same day. It was a promo day by a dealer trying to get us to buy them as company cars. Sorry to say it but, That was a great track day car too, though it lacked the muscle of the Noble and you have to be Orrigarmi to get in and out. Ace to watch the dolly birds in their mini skirts throwing one leg at a time over the big sills to get out. I was amazed how many don't where undis in the summer :shock: :shock: :D :D

I'll be there, but like everyone else it could be touch and go as to weather the Z is back on the road. I've got to the point where i, thinking of have a few days off work to go into the body shop to finish it my self. :cry:

I've driven the GTO 2 and was well impressed by the build Quality and the GTO 3 is even better although the first 1's wheren't that clever. Far better build than TVR's or even early 911 and better drivers car. You Know what They say Beauty is in the eye of he who can afford it.:D :D

Must confess it will be my next sports car (mainly weekend racer) However I have a real soft spot for the Z because she can be such a good long distance cruser as well as a balls out head banger.:D So I hope I'll be able to still have a Z.:dance:

I'd spend it on my Z you could have a real nice motor for that. £20,000 just ain't enough for something real tasty and Skylines don't appeal to me. Almost bought a Midnight Purple R33 GTR. It might sound daft but, the power and handling seemed too comfortable. Not exciting enough. You just went faster and faster into corners trying to reach arse twitching speed. The handling is too good to have fun. Might trade mine and wifes car in + £20,000 for a Noble GTO 3. Had a go in a GTO 2 at Brans last year great fun car and cumfy.:D :D

Depends on the quality and thickness of the FG. I'm told that the bumper actualy goes all the way under the car to front cross member. That it is strengthend to actualy run the car up and over speed bumps. Good quality FG has more tensile strength than steel so, so long as you don't hit the speed bumps at speed you should be O.K.

The big problem with these type of people is that they know the system and have thick necks. So they know that the cost of chasing them is more than what you'll get in return. Worst of all is if you do actualy get them to the court room door (which is highly unlikely) they will just say O.K. there's your money back and even though you've spent £5,000 to get them there you won't get any of that back because, the court will say you are no longer at a loss. I'm sorry to say it but they don't give a Flying. Maybe one of those watch dog programs can help and that won't cost you anything. No point throwing good money after bad:cry: sorry mate.

Whats wrong with Z without the Nissan bit that would be sound, just as they do in Nip Land. Lets face it the Nissan name has such little Kudos that in the States the Skyline and the New 430E are called Infiniti. As for the Audi TT? Well that's one of my main reasons for disliking the Z350. It looks like a poor copy of a cute girly car. Driven by mainly girls and her dressers. Its not goimg to be a classic. ( like the 280Z and Z31, best forgotten):D

There are loads of them in Japan and you can pic plenty of second hand ones up there too. They do have shed loads. I mean what would you do if because of cuts in buget due to low sales of Nissan world wide the new model is not as good as previous model. You Engineer a demand. Basic marketing!! Knowing how snobby the Brits are they say, "hey were only bringing in a limited number". Then they tell everyone how demand is so great you have to wait because every body wants one of the few their bringing in. Bingo every Mr and Mrs Jones wants one, Demand created. (*no offence intended to any one name Jones) Just look what BMW did and now there are more 3 series beema's on the road than anything else. Don't see that happening to the 350Z though because it says Nissan on it. One carn't turn up to little Jimmy's party in a Nissan your friends might think you were poor.

Only models destined for shores beyond Nip land and then there's no BHP limit. Also the R35 has been in production for over a year and is a four door or two door coupe. It uses both V8 and the same power plant as 350Z (Renault isn't it :D ) The GTR is a stand alone model was due out in 2004 now 2007.

The one 1 looked at didn't have tits. Is that a new extra to make it more attractive or is that what sits in the seats. For my money the Z32 is a real clasic like the 240Z, the mark 1 Mustange to name 2. They have timeless lines, power and the only tits you get in them are the ones that are drawn in by the in built fanny magnets.:slap: :dance: :D

Mine isn't standard either, but it's auto and I do have size 11s and no other driver aids:D :dance:

I'm a member of the Volvo T5 forum and ya its very good for tuning advice, problem solving and some nice people, but lets face it you have got to be nuts to own a 300. If you were sane you wouldn't throw so much money at a car. My wife says i'm a complete idiot so I gess I've found my home at last. Definately the best forum by miles:cool:
