  1. I have a staggered set of 19's with knackered tyres if your interested?
  2. Hello My UK auto TT has been sleeping in my garage since January after breaking down one too many times! Next weekend I am going to fire her up, however this is the problem. last time I drove her after breaking down the engine kept cutting out, at the time I thought it was either a failed PTU or Wet MAF (Apexi!) so replaced the PTU with a working one, and disconnected the MAF, but the engine cuts out. When she dies, you can start her up again no problem then 30 seconds later, it sounds like she is only running a a few cylinders then dies, there is no knocking, ect! I have no consult or data scan about 150 miles from Zed World and the car is not drivable, any ideas?
  3. No Conzult or datascan, and I am miles away from Zed World! Its frustrating as I treated the bitch to some nice new sills, and she is still not happy! Damn Zed!
  4. Hi All, have not been on here for a little while as I have got so fed up with the Zed it has been parked in the gararge for the last few months. Current problem it that I keeped getting a wet MAF and engine cut out; however the problem I have is that when I disconnect to MAF it still cuts out, now I thought that with a disconnected MAF I simply would not be able to rev past 2500rpm. When the car cuts out, it is not a striaght cut out it runs on a few cylinders for about 10 secs and even if you press on the gas it dies! Now I have to say I am getting to the point where the mrs wont get in the car because it breaks down all the time!
  5. Spotted in Freeport Car Park outside Halfords, hope you was not buying anything for you Zed from there! Nice clean car by the way,
  6. I have a White one with a high spoiler in Essex, Where abouts? I have been waiting for this moment for ages! I have longed to be spoted!
  7. His Dead! What I did not hear about that, I really liked Solid Air excellent work! RIP
  8. holy bugger, I have a stock cooling system, and my oil temp runs anything between 75 - 95Celsius or 160 - 210 fh , depending on outside air temp, -
  9. SSSSSSSSSSSWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTT I want to cuddle one!
  10. In addition the touque even in the power bands is nothing to the Zed, if I remember the Civic Type R is about 150 torques which is nothing, so wet and dry you can get the power down. I have a Auto, and running fat arse toyos 265's on the back, and if I hit full boost in first or second I go no where, but I make lots of noise and smoke!
  11. As an ex owner of both - EP3 Civic Type R owner (Newish shape '03), and DC5 '05 Integra type R the power delivery is pretty different to my TT Z, The civic and especially the Integra are really light cars, the Civic if I remember weighs at around 1200 kg, and the Integra 1100kg. The six speed close ratio box are amazing and you can change gear extremely quick however with both of them you really have to wind them up into pretty high revs before the V-TEC kicks in around 5900rpm. However starting from the line they are rapid but do run out of puff around 80ish, The Zed I find a completely different beast, at the moment I am running at 14psi with an apexi, chip, and zorst and hitting full boost I sh%t my pants every time, which I never did in either of the hondas. Great cars, but for mid range grunt, and shear lunatic power the hondas cant keep up with the big boys. (Oh unless they have a charger on them! a Civic Type R with a Rotex will push out around 300bhp)
  12. No problem, thanks for the help, have a goodun bud, Chris
  13. It is indeed for a Long Wheel base, I will check to see if it is all stainless, I know its a little rusty on the pipework, so bear with me i'll check tonight to see general condition, cheers Chris
  14. I do and I had a sub in the boot with a ton of Dyna mat in as well! I needed a sub as I could not hear music at all it really is droony especially at 2K revs
  15. What sort of condition is yours in? my power flow is about 10 years old, and although the boxes look good, not sure about the pipework, so if not swap how much are you wanting? I am going to Z-World in the new year for some lovely new sills, so may do a job lot!
  16. Ironically its not that loud outside of the car, and it sounds kinda muffled, but the noise transmitted through the car is so loud, I car still has it's original CATS in it (Erm I think!) I am after another stainless system, as I am running with a Chip, boost valves at 14psi and Apexi filter, so I need free flowing one, but just quieter!!!!
  17. Hello guys, I currently have an old Power Flow Exhaust (2x4 outlet) and whilst it looks ok it is really boomy on long journeys and it is begining to get on my nerves, I want to replace the system and de cat as well ((1990) with newish tubs), but I wanted advice on what people would recomend I want a 2x4 pipe outlet, and whilst I don't mind it grumbling a little i really don't want a loud chavtastic Southend Nova system, on my old Integra Type R DC 5 I had a lovely buddy club one that was really nice an quiet, any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Story so Far My car has killed Three auto boxes, set of turbos, 100's set's of tyres,
  18. Cheers I just got so excited that I could answer this one, I forgot to read it back before posting!
  19. Hi, Stock power at the wheels is around 280 bhp, boost can be raised three of the most used methods 1) Electronic Boost Controller 2) Mig tips 3) manual boost controllers boost can be raised to around 12psi on the stock ecu and internals however past that you should consider a ecu upgrade to compensate the fueling. I am currently running 14psi with manual boost controllers, and ecu upgrade, and have no running or dett problems, I am sure that many people on here will have far bnetter knowledge on this than me, I just wanted to answer a question instead of asking! C
  20. NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just finished decorating my living room and have had three weekends of being covered in crap!
  21. Last week whilst in sub zero temp, I decided to wax the old girl and plonk her in the gararge, however as it was reasonably dry I decided to go for a drive this weekend, well I have an oil leak it is coming from the passenger front wheel arch and oil is dripping down the cables behind the inner wheelarch plastic panel. After a drive it looked like I had been rally driving as oil had sprayed up the side of the passenger side, where the heck is it coming from, the only thing I can think of is that it is coming from the oil pressure or temp aftermarket pipes? Any ideas?
  22. I was trying to think of the "alpha beta deta" alphabet to other day, genius i could not think what "w" was
  23. Man I would love my own personal runway for the Zed! I think that I would looking on E-Bay for a "aeroplane body kit" (Since you can buy ferrari ones ect) LOL
  24. I can't wait for the expansion no more going to Heathrow or Gatwick for long haul fights! It's only up the road from me Joely P I thought I was the only Zed in Essex!
