sorry about the bad news i know what you are going through as ive just got my car fixed from spining of the road and hit bushes and a post i was very lucky as ive go 3k of chrome 18" alloys but not a mark on them as it went over the curb. i just had pannel damage. go to the trades form and see andyz he will have all the bits you need i got all mine from him and he is very cheap the insuance company was going to pay 2k out to fix the zed but after i never went with them in the end ive done the job for under £400 and iam crap with cars. its worth geting a price from a local garage and see if you can get it done cheap. is its worth all the hassel of loseing your no claims and paying more for the insuarce next year and dont forget your exess on top to pay.

they are now fitted and the car looks like new again the whole job took about 3 hours fit new wing and door 1 or 2 tricky bits but got there in the end.

i need a bit of help still with this as ive got this week of and i want to get this sorted out. when started from cold revs go to 2000rpm??? and after a few seconds drop to near stalling point and some times it does cut out. then the revs go back up again ....and up and down and so on.??? this goes like this for about 3mins then runs at between 700-800 rpm and stops there. this only happens when the engine is cold never when its warm. help.

how easy is this job and is there any tricks in removal of this parts i.e. any hidden nuts and bolts

iam going to be removing my drivers door and wing and replacing them how easy is it and what tricks are there in doing this.

spotted a zed and i was following it into grimsby town center at about 5pm you had some girls waving at you it had full big twin stainless exhaust and one of them was bent in. are you on this site if so you should pop round for a cuppa.

iam the same as tanzx i go to bed between 12-3am. get up about 6-7am every mornning with my cat jumping on my head for food. i think iam addicted to the net as when i get in from work i have to go and surf the web and the wife hates it.

so it must be like i said and the rear is sloppy and needs new rubbers ??? i will be having them looked at

snap i had a cossy rwd 4 years ago and other rwd cars but it did not feel like the zed thats because they never had this 4 wheel steer i think the back end on my zed is geting sloppy and needs new rubbers maybe thats why it was twitching in the ice and snow having a full check over a 12 th jan to see what the car needs or whats on its way out

hi mtl iam coming down to godalming on the 4th of jan staying at the the manor hotal? as i have a meeting at my hq at catteshall manor on the monday. do you fancy having a mini meet some where on the sunday after noon i should be down for about 3pm- 4pm ? as iam traveling down from n.e. lincolnshire and a 6 hour? drive not looking forwad to the fuel in the zed on this trip.lol. cheers jack.

i keep seeing a silver or gray? zed in liconshire going between grimsby and louth on the a16 it had full body kit high spoiler big wheels anyone got a clue who this is

i had the same today as i was driving on sheet ice the car was going in a straight line at 20mph but the back end felt like it was twitching side to side as if it was sliping i thought it was going to spin on me as only 2 days ago the car spun on black ice. iam thinking of geting the lock kit to stop the 4 wheel steer

iam a rep for the maxd car club and our forum is dead i love this site and after work iam on here every night when i flick over to see whats happening on the other site no one has posted on there. i am also on the gtir- site but after selling mr gtir i dont go on there no more as ive got a realy jap car now lol.

sorry to here your bad news mate but iam in the same boat as you went out in the zed 20 yards from my house and spun the back end round on black ice and ended in a bush and hit a small post now iam fixing a new door, wing, sill, and front bumper., lucky andyz had all the parts for me and in black and will be at my house before xmas so ive bought my self a vellside copy bodykit to cheer my self up

iam defo going to this make shaw my names down for this even better its down next to my head office the book people ltd. cool i can pop in for drinks.

looks bad in photos but not that bad andy has all the parts for me and in black should have it looking like new before xmas

i had a road kill but it killed my zed!!!! the bush and the wooden post was not a match for the zed but at least it is now dead and the post is snaped but as for the zed £600 and will back on the road for another fight but i will stick to car road kills them posts are hard to beat.lol

one little warning dont play with the power at this time of year see pic this is what happens when you do 30mph and find some black ice on a bend.

the sill is now going to be repaired at the body shop ive got the worse out so now some filler and paint it should be good as new.
