The oil companies have to invest billions to locate and research oil, then build rigs and drill for it, then pipe/ship it and refine and deliver it....ALL FOR A FEW PENCE A LITRE.. The Government however does F**K ALL AND TAKES APPROX 60P A LITRE IN TAX. So exactly who deserves and works for that money. There is no way anyone can blame oil companies for the price of petrol. I do not believe in the principal of turning the disks on the car. If you skim disks in a lathe then they will run perfectly true that is a fact. When cars are built the disks are not re-skimmed after being fitted to the car, another fact. If you skim a disk on the hub you are machining an error into your disk to compensate for run out in your hubs. Best way is to skim in lathe, make sure hub runout is not excessive and thourghly clean, make sure caliper pistons are not sticking and fit new pads. Then you should have no problem. Paul

Dead easy just knock the old ones out. put the new one in place and put a load of washers on it then tighten the wheel nut onto the washers and it will pull the new stud into the hole. Paul
