  1. Thanks Joely - I will have a better look in the morning for the idle control screw. New coil packs, injector plugs and spark plugs have cleared the lumpy running but I am left with a high (1400rpm) warmed up idle. Haven't adjusted the idle for 20 years and has always been rock steady at 800ish so not convinced that is the problem. No Consult errors. Any thoughts appreciated. I am not using an aftermarket boost controller so leads are still a mystery. Thanks again Martin
  2. Hi All Whilst searching for the still illusive idle adjustment screw I came across these two plugs going nowhere! 1) Does anyone know what they are? They are adjacent to the auto gearbox dipstick (see photo). 2) Does anyone have a picture where the idle adjustment screw is located on 1991 TT. Thanks in advance Martin
  3. Thanks for the quick replies - Searched for Nissan filter # 15208-55Y00 which may have been replaced by #15208-55Y0A but no luck from Google! Will phone Nissan Dealer tomorrow. Cheers Martin

  11. Had a problem with my rear brake lights / fog light conversion and gave Jeff a call. Diagnosed problem over the phone and put the correct relay in the post for next day delivery. Thanks Jeff especially for your patience in helping me locate the relay without me having to take the boot liner out! Martin
  12. Thanks Guys for all the advice - will keep going! Cheers Martin
  13. Hi Guys Have started to polish the Plenum (so slooooow!) and will then move on to the throttle bodies and linkage. How do you super polishers get into the nooks and crannys of the throttle body? Any help appreciated. Cheers Martin
  14. Hi Guys Are there any differences between N/A and TT throttle bodies? Thanks
  15. Thanks Andyp & Groover Don't know when the donor '92 car was registered tho. I also have the '92 passenger switch but that doesn't have a bulb holder......strange.
  16. I can recommend this glue - used this on my interior panels 7 years ago - no problems. Not cheap but does the job: http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1263-heat-resistant-adhesive.aspx
  17. Hi Guys Probably a question for Groover (Graham) - Mr. all things electrical :-) Thought I would replace my drivers window switch as the markings had rubbed off. Mine is a Jap Spec '91 and the new switch is from a UK '92. The Jap switch has 3 & 4 pin connector. The UK switch has 3 & 6 pin connector. (see photos) The UK has what looks like an extra bulb & connector. Was the UK spec switch illuminated hence the extra 2 pins? Both switches work ok but neither lights up at the moment. Cheers Martin
  18. Recently saw this in one of the Consult connector item descriptions on ebay. 'Nissan Consult connects to your PC via RS232 (serial port), USB to serial adaptors do not work and should not be used. Your laptop will require the correct port' Can you post if you get it working.
  19. Thanks..will also start wth the copper grease when I get a chance.
  20. Hi Dan Trying to stop annoying brake squeal (medium braking pressure - soft & hard braking no squeal). I use Porterfield R4-S pads. I have Brembo R33 fronts but they never came with any pad shims. I noticed in the diagram you posted that it didn't have any shims for the fronts. Just wondered if you had any front shims when you bought them? Have these to try : http://www.partsforsaabs.com/product_info.php?products_id=3930 Cheers Martin
  21. Thanks really appreciate the offer but have ordered a couple from fleabay.
  22. Hi Guys Can anyone tell me the size of my missing interior dome light in mm. Fleabay has so many different sizes to choose from 36,38,39,42,43mm etc etc. Thanks Martin
