Want to get back behind the wheel of a Zed again. Got up to £5k to spend. Got my eye on ebay/auto trader/pistonheads/Japanese markets to import myself and wanted to throw my hat into the ring here too.

Yeah make you wonder if it was a time waster bidder or they went to collect and was a heap? By the way I'm not trying to shout the car down, it could be a proper little gem and a bargain.

An honest opinion is only as honest as the person giving it and personal opinions on "Good condition" vary greatly from person to person. On the face of it it looks like a straight car that could be great, but without seeing myself and with it sat for so long it's just not worth the risk (to me anyway)

I was looking at that myself, decided against it as it's not had an MOT or been out of a garage for over four years. If I had time to look over it properly and add up what it will need (perished rubber being the big one) then I'd take a punt but about £2.2k is all I think I could put into it.

Just retracted my bid, it's not been MOT'd for four years. Too much of a gamble there for me.

Dad's mate had one for about 6 months, nothing but problems and cant get spare parts, ate tyres quicker than the cookie monster eats cookies. Yeah its powerful, but so it a robin reliant with a V8 in from a TVR. Still doesnt mean I'd want one ;)

I couldnt dissagree more!!! I own a rental property and would never use an agent. An agent will put anyone in your house, they dont care who goes in. Most of the checks they do mean nothing at all. I interviewed about 20 familys before deciding on letting one have my house (and thats how the market is, you decide who gets it), 18 of the familys asked to take it and I turned them down cos I didnt want them in my house, it took about three weeks. Well worth it as they have been there for four years now and never any problems, keep it clean and look after the place. Contracts can be drawn up online for free. YOU get all the money and dont pay an agent to do nothing!

Or better still, leave the missus at home and take Riddick :lol:

Go to a local club and ask to book some 1-on-1 with an instructor. Tell him/her what you want to achieve and get out of the sessions. I find 1-on-1 far more rewarding and productive than in a group.

Decent marquee (dont know what we have right now) Gas BBQ + Gas etc Generator PA system Disco lights Banners Fold up tables £1500 Total. Would all make for a great place to be at the big national meets and the club would own them to use year in year out at as many meets as they liked, of course the problem would be where would you keep it all as you cant upload it to the website lol
