50mm with a nice low apature will be great for cars and portrates of people mate, will give nice low light shots too if you go to a car meet at night ;o) Gonna try and get to Arena Essex on Saturday see if I can get some good car pics there.

Morning all, recently been getting the urge to take nice pictures so went and got myself a good digital SLR and a couple of lenses. Went out to Maldon yesterday and got some nice pics. Any other budding photographers here?
