NZR: 64bit pc systems
Wouldn't agree wholly with that, the architecture of the 64bit processors is a lot different and you will see a difference in performance due to the way it executes commands. Especially if you go with the 949 pin setup. Some nice benchmarks here that will show the beter performance of a 64bit over a normal AMD chip. http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/20040106/athlon64_3400-05.html Also the 64bit processors are only a few quid more than a non 64bit, and the gains are more than worth the extra £5. All in MHO that is

NZR: 64bit pc systems
Been running a 754 pin 3200+ 64bit for over a year now with 32bt windows XP (dont go near the 64bit edition). No problems at all, for the money I am very very happy. Combined with a good MOBO and SATA drive the thing flys. Gaming and video editing is where I see the best results, my old P4 2.8Ghz would chug along and not be happy at all (Yes with a SATA drive).

Turbo's off is an engine out job (£500 ish) then you need new/recon turbos (£1000 min) The PCV's and pipes are on this diagram http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/oe_pcv.html talk to MJP in the traders area and he will sort you with a set of new pipes and valves.

Sounds like rear turbo seals. Hope not bud. Could try replacing the PCV's and see if that stops it? also make sure your not over filled with oil.

Speedo problem
If you have a converter on the car it might be that playing up, or could be the wiring from the speed sonsor, or it could be the speed sensor itself. I know youve got a new one on there, but even new things can brake.

suspension HELP!
15 year old springs, buy some new ones. they sagg after time, and make the car lower than normal. never buy 2nd hand with things like suspention. Put money on it, you buy new stock springs and you'll not be lower than other Zed's

Any Thoughts On This ???
this is what e said, sounds like the belt snapped, he pulled over and it would be fire up any more. "I cant see it losing power from a motorway drive then stalling when stopped as It never did anything like that before, i'm beggining to suspect a hole melted in the top of a piston or somthing else to make it lose compression. but as no oil in the water or water in the oil then it cant be a cracked head or block.. got me puzzled"
