Good Idea mate but have you done the math??? Say 100 kind 300zx.co.uk members say "I'll help" and split the costs, thats still £50 each. IF you can get 100 members to part with that I'll be suprised. Not having a go or puting the principal behind the idea down. But Its a lot of cash to raise between not a lot of folk. Surely if this did work and we raised 5k. We would be better off just handing over 5K in Cash to the charity????

Ok, I've got an email from a place thet can sort out the whole trip and this is their reply. A Saturday to tuesday is our best optin at the lakes they have listed. Hi Nick I can appreciate your problem. The venues only accept bookings from Sat to Sat. Whilst some are prepared to do short weeks they would never allow a booking to cross two booking weeks as they would lose out far too much. So they may well do Sat to Tuesday but not Fri to Monday. The venues that would do the part weeks are Roseau, Beau-Repaire, Vivier & Marcusans. If any of these interest you please let me know and I can get you a quote. I will need to know the number of Anglers and the number of cars/minibuses/vans you would take. Regards Bridget

Remember people you can turn up just for a few days of the week we book and not do the whole week. ie, turn up saturday and go home monday or turn up wednesday and go home Sturday etc etc. :smash:

Yeah I hear that but the problem is, no lakes I can find will do a weekend only :( . Well thats a lie, there is one in southern France but for a weekend would be a nightmare to get to and from in such a small timescale. Would spend most of the weekend driving not fishing.

OK its getting hard to find a nice lake that will let us fish for only the weekend. All the lakes I've contacted will only book Sat - Sat :xxx: So our other option could be to book a lake Sat - Sat and people who want to do a long weekend can do Sat - Tue (Or whatever you want) then myself and anyone else that wants to stay longer (whole week or less) can stay on? Prices are coming up at about £600 to book an entire lake for the week all to ourselves. Feedback please people! :smash:
