Take it you've never had a go at changing a heater matrix yourself then! Its a coont of a job, it really is (dash out and rip your hands apart job). Need a good two days that you know you can dedicate to it and wont need the car for (might not take two days but worth making sure you have the time), if the guy needs his car this week the bypass is easy and will mean he can use the car.

Thats why I said to use plastic 90 degree bends to avoid that exact thing. Hope it works out ok bud.

Back of the engine are two pipes that go inside the car to the matrix, you need to remove those pipes and find a way of conecting them together. What I did was three bits of pipework connected with 90 degree plasic plumbing bends. so ended up with a square shape and not bent pipework. #----------==== ¦ #--------====== = is the exiting metal pipe coming out engine - is the new rubber bypass hose i fittied # is a 90 degree plastic connector Does that make sence?
