Yes you can buy cheap kits fella but the filtration is rubbish on a lot of them, plus you need to create the vortex needed for the MAF to opperate correctly so would be hard to make one that works propperly yourself. your best bet is to bite the bullet and buy an Apexi from a trader, think they are normally under the £100 mark and by far the best filter.

Well just to start this thread off I want to say it’s not a sympathy thread, I just feel like I need to say what’s going on and share what I'm feeling. Yesterday I got the news that one of my longest friends had passed away. Was completely out the blue. He had broken his leg, that’s it. Simple as that and it killed him. A broken f*cking leg! He got deep Vein Thrombosis cos of the break and that was the actual cause of death, how rubbish is that though! Took the whole of 20 min for everyone in the group to hear what had happened and within' the hour every one of us was down the pub to have our own little wake for him and comfort each other. Was a feeling of complete disbelief and bizarreness to the whole occasion, we had all encountered death at some point, but it's meant for old people. Our Grand parents and old relatives, not our 30-year-old mates who were healthy! Very sad evening and not nice waking up today knowing he's gone. Was a wicked bloke and the singer in the first formation of "Big Witch" known as "Digestive". Anyway, RIP Tony Moorcraft will miss you loads fella.

Think this is getting a bit too heated now. The threads were a bit of fun as everyone (Including the mods) could see and they were expected to be deleted. Why the sad complaint I dont know when deleting was all that was needed. Just leave it at that now cos trying to front up to the mods only ends in a ban wether your right or not so its not even worth the effort.

Dont care about the threads being removed. We all knew they were going to be, it was just a few people having fun in a new area. The mods knew that so why put a complaint in? Just remove the threads as was expected and jobs done. Well I must be well slow at typing if it was there for 30 min cos I saw it the same min it was added and was removed before i could reply. Nope, as I said. It was removed within' a min. I saw it when you added it, but by the time I could reply it was removed. No way could there have been a complaint. 1. No one was on the forum at that time. 2. it was removed before anyone would have been able to see it. "If" there was a complaint it was from the mod who removed it.
