  1. Chopper, Glad to be of assistance to someone else, for a change, hope all is working accordingley
  2. As they say, the old ones are the best. Perhaps we ought to start an old, but funny jokes, thread!!!!!!!
  3. Just thought i'd add, i did the whole job from underneath the car, on axle stands, obviously, without removing the rad
  4. Mike, You dont need to touch the nut on the back. if you just undo the bolt at the front, the nut has a tab on it which holds it in place, also useful when your refitting, the only trouble i had was getting the alternator out from between the anti roll bar, but after turning and testing and turning and testing, it eventually came out, took me about half an hour
  5. A man returns from his trip to the jungle, when he finally gets home, he greets his wife, and gives her a box. "Whats this?", she says, "Well", said the man, "its a very rare, c0ck sucking frog." ,"A c0ck sucking frog?", says the woman, "A c0ck sucking frog? What am i supposed to do with a c0ck sucking frog?", to which the man replies, " teach it to cook, and fook off!!!!"  :D :D I apologise if you've heard it before, but i thought it was funny, and had to share it
  6. Yewcheck, Try these guys, P&K Autos, 01454 320999. they sprayed the back end of mine for me as atidy up job, cracking job, going to get them to do my rear spoiler when it arrives. Neil
  7. Normally you just tap into the 2 wires that feed the door locking solinoid, providing your alarm has a central locking trigger on it, its just a simple case of working out if the door is locked/unlocked with a posative or negative pulse, and connecting the wires accordingly
  8. Bargin!!!!! let me know how you get on, and like so many on the forum, i probably have a buyer for your 17s, should you wish to part with them
  9. I didnt know that, but i do know that with the Anglo-American agreement, unfortunatly us as British citizens are tarred with the same brush as the yanks. I also remember being on holiday in Turkey a few years ago, and a waiter telling me how much he liked my country, not for the rolling green hills, not for our fantastic weather, ahem, not for our love of Japanese high performance sports cars, no, he, and his mates told me, and i quote, we like your country because they give you money to do nothing. If thats what other countries think of ours, and our government keep letting it happen, no wonder its going down the pan
  10. Not that im too jemmed up on this issue, the Kilroy thing i agree with, remember when the twin towers collapsed, all those muslims burning american flags and cheering? Its not right. The Sun had an intresting story today, about that one eyed hook, gimp, who's in our country, preaching anti Anglo-American ways, and how we all ought to be shot, yet he's costing us, the tax payers, a shed load in benifits, in short, if you dont like our country, and its so good in yours, sod off, and stop sponging off me!!!!!!
  11. Tuberider, Let me know how you get on with those, im seriously intrested myself. If its not too rude a question, how much?, and where you getting them from?
  12. That would be DRIVING in icey conditions, not DIVING
  13. Hold lets the car pull away steadier, i.e. better for diving in icey conditions, etc, i think it pulls away in 2nd gear from stop. Power just lets the engine rev higher before changing gear
  14. That was the route i was going to suggest, crude, but effective
  15. Theres an official name and language for that type of spelling, its called Welsh!!!!!!
  16. Cheers Steve, havnt seen it in or around Bristol, only caught a brief glance, nice looking car though
  17. Is it a key locking nut, or an odd shaped nut?
  18. WANTED Several large tyres to cut in half and wrap around my car till the sun comes out again
  19. Out of intrest, what mak and style are those wheels?
  20. Who was that in a bright yellow, nice body, big wheels 300zx, that blasted past me whilst i was innocently heading onto the motorway, east bound. good job i was'nt driving my300 at the time, i would have forced you onto the hard shoulder, marched up to the drivers window, and, and, and, shook yer hand and said, nice car, where did you get those wheels!!!!!! :p :p :p
  21. All this talk of stopping smoking is getting to my sub-concious, and telling me i need a smoke!!!!!
  22. SRRae, thanks for the advice, but it was only a low speed impact, enough to do damage though, front end broke away, sent me straight into a kerb, have numbed the pain with a few pints of the black stuff, hoping Andyz gets back to me a bit quick so i can replace knackered parts, retrack it, and learn how to drive

  24. Welcome to the madhouse, though sometimes the topics of conversation should not be read by ladies!!!! You will find thers not a bad bunch on here, and we all help each other when possible, dont be afraid to ask!!! Good luck in your search for a real car!!!!
