  10. Ajay lost the details of someone - could this be you? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26138 Your status under your avatar will change to "Subscribed Member" when Ajay updates you. HTH Martin
  11. You really should fit a decent permanent boost guage if you are going to play with this kind of stuff. Here are my results with a couple of different sized jets, but all cars are different. No Jets: 0.64 kgf/square cm = 9.10294 lbf/square inch (PSI) 1.2mm Jets: 0.84 kgf/square cm = 11.947609 lbf/square inch (PSI) 1.0mm Jets: 0.92 kgf/square cm = 13.085476 lbf/square inch (PSI) I stuck with the 1.0mm which should also allow for unwanted boost spikes. HTH Martin :)

Very interesting this thread, so much so I went out to take the same pic of my rad. I have been convienced my head gasket had gone (oil in water - no signs of water in oil) and had a total flush but the crap (which certainly does seem to be oil) came back :( Anyways maybe it is rust as Stuart says! What do you guys think from the photo? How can I confirm 100% what the problem is? If it is the gasket 51X do you know what SEs fixed price is? Do they do it with the engine in or out? Cheers Martin
  13. Boltblue 512kb ADSL, quiet time of day though I expect ;) Downstream 458 Kbps (57.3 KB/sec) 494 Kbps (inc. overheads) Upstream 243 Kbps (30.4 KB/sec) 262 Kbps (inc. overheads)
  14. Antera 309s - 10x18 ® 8.5x18 (F)
  15. Spoiler removed on mine James, wot you debating? Whether to get the perspex panel or a boot skin? Didn't Warren's just have the boot skin and no spoiler?
  16. Insurance factory do classic insurance on imports. I'm paying around £350. Needs to be 2nd car :)
  17. Off the road! failed head gasket I suspect as oil in coolant  best not be a crack in the head. So I believe an engine out job so gonna save (need bloody job first lol) and get some new tubs also. Probably get some other work done while engine out, but what that is I don't know yet. What can 5k get you nowadays? Oh and still got to get the manual gearbox rebuilt! Fingers crossed she will be back for next summer bigger and better :D Martin
  18. Superb one Simon, really happy for you. In a week or two you will have forgotten all about the wait and be happy cruising. Got to get my pennies saved now and get mine booked in to SE, won't be for a while yet tho :( Good luck Martin

  20. My wipers used to sit too high and at speed wind noise was a constant problem (admittedly near side more). It was funny that I noticed a noice reduction when the wipers were on, so I got the wipers repositioned and sat correctly. Problem solved ;)
  21. check your wipers are seated correctly!
  22. Mine is the same, works one day and then not the next! :( Andy is this intermitant problem the same as when they pack up all together? Cheers Martin
  23. For the hardware / networking IT guys and gals ;) I need a 8 port 10/100 hub / adsl router with firewall. Does such a product exist and any ideas where to buy cheap? All recommendations much appreciated. Cheers Martin
  24. Excellent vid Stu, really wish my car was a goer at the mo, would have been a good day out.
  25. Also Steve E's motor had a good write up in Jap performance a couple of years ago. Got the scans ask if you want to see em ;)
