welcome to the club mate. these are frequently-asked questions, but hey that what we're here for! 1/4-mile times for a lightly-modded TT auto would prolly sit around 13.5-14.5. the gasket in the photo is from my old intake (Bomz racing) which ive been using for months and obviously matches the MAF. i saw this advertised as 'universal' so i went for it (again, against my better judgement). knowing my luck its the intake for a Corolla or something!!!

greed took over my better judgement when i got hold of this for £20. as you can see from the photo, the gasket leading to the MAF doesnt fit on the cone, no matter which way you rotate it. is there any kind of adapter which will help me out or have i learned my lesson?

'fraid so - its CHALK-board. by saying BLACKboard you automatically hate all blacks (including Zs ;) ) and should be locked up - even though a blackboard is black anyways :confused: :wack:

i just worked Sun, Mon and Tue but have got next two days off so its not so much of a culture shock!!!

i remember when i first got the ZX, after the initial thrill of having a new car i decided to do a 0-60 and couldnt beat 7.5 :mad: then i got hold of this same brochure which stated 7.0 secs for the auto. this REALLY peed me off as id spent £6k on a 3l TT and it was barely faster than my old cav!!! :( :headvswal :headvswal :wack: anyway i took it to a mechanic (for a checkover and basic mods) and we found out that there was a major oil and boost leak. afterwards i was enjoying 5.5secs (emphasis on the word enjoying) and now after a few more mods its even faster. oi love moi zard

does look good and an improvement over the standard model but a 0-62 of 5.9 isnt exactly neck-breaking!!!

nice one sarge - another weight off your back for a year (well, until insurance and tax come around :( )

if you make it accurate enough it should take about 10 mins to get around!! :p
