  1. thats terrible. R.I.P.
  2. it's my turn to be the nasal party pooper and say it's Blitz DSBC and ApexI AVCR. ive just sold my Blitz and upgraded to a GReddy Profec E01.
  3. love the GReddy calculator (with memory function). there's more pens in that Clio than all the Z's in the UK put together
  4. great news mate. fingers crossed that she's in one piece.
  5. too much information, ;) welcome to the club matey!
  6. i have the other two Apexi bits (the RSM and SAFC2) - both almost exactly the same shape and size as AVC-R. theyre attached just above the vents on the centre console. not ideal but there's not many other places to put them
  7. no doubt they'll be in for a fat compensation cheque somewhere down the line because they didnt get enough 'training'. rrrrrRRRRRRRRRR
  8. thumbs up, wave, nod, usual stuff.
  9. Saw you at the roundabout from Glenfield to Fosse Park about 9:30 Saturday morning.
  10. i agree, 14.5psi is plenty for a stock setup. if you have cash waiting for a rebuild then you can afford to see how far you can push your luck. if not, don't be tempted
  11. great news mate! :)
  12. Happy Birthday mate :duffer:
  13. lol, NO! they may be available but they'll be chuffin expensive!!!! (everybody's heard my story where Nissan were going to charge me £800 for a steering wheel which in the end i got for £50 from a club member :smash: )
  14. not keen on heights - im ok as long as i stay well away from the edges. big smelly hairy spiders can fook right off too.
  15. same as above really, hats off to your daughter Scrawni for telling you. i cant really comment because ive never taken drugs of any form (bar a bit of ibuprofen now and again) but at the end of the line it surely has to lead to bad news whether it be O/D, crime, addiction, money, whatever. but the annoying thing for me is what you say Scrawni about the fact that she was unwittingly 'in possession'. what if your daughter's friend had offered someone else who'd said no and told a bouncer who then asked your daughter what was in the bag? :nono:
  16. speak to Stevie007 on here - he's mad about that kind of thing. [takes loads of cool footage from meets, then never posts it up  :p ]
  17. reliable... some are great, some aren't. make sure you stump up the extra cash for one that you know's been looked after. if you get a cheap'un, you'll be spending on her for months afterwards. targa leak: the rubber seals do tend to fail over time. they can be easily replaced, or a bit of rubber sealant does the trick. as for 'Are they pretty good as a whole?' ... ohhhh yes! :D
  18. having a PCV swap reduced my smoking problem quite a lot, but sadly didnt fix it for good :(
  19. welcome to the club mate. i'll try and answer some of your questions: parts: there are plenty of spares knocking about on here - Zs get broken up quite often so there's rarely a shortage of parts there's a buyer's guide in the FAQ section: http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm there are (almost) as many bods on here who are as happy with their auto as others are with their manual. the autobox is great, but as with many things in this life will become unreliable due to age and thrashing. conversions to manual are getting common and the work (inc. parts) can be done for under a grand if you know where to look. mine was initially an auto but i had it converted to manual cos the autobox failed. although i prefer manual boxes, i do miss the auto stock TT power some say 280 some say nearer 300. either way you can get comfortably over 300 flywheel bhp for a very good price 0-60 for manual TT is quoted as 5.6secs adding zorst and filter will free up about 15bhp
  20. it was the big end and crankshaft main bearings that were worked on last time, about £400-worth
  21. I got 5/10  http://www.malevole.com/mv/misc/killerquiz/
