  1.   "if you think im lying come forward and scratch it you cynical b***ards!"
  2. borrowed this off a mate and its absolutely hilarious!! DVD of the live shows he does where he tells us about his travels across the world meeting people who's websites are unique in that when you do a Google search for two words, only one match occurs. naturally enough the first thing i did after id watched it is have a go at GoogleWhacking myself - and the best i could manage was 520 matches. i dont normally take to stand-up comedy but in parts i was crying with laughter   definately worth renting/buying. has anyone else seen this?
  3. although i have the utmost respect for our services, i think it was more luck than intel that helped prevent anything going wrong over the last 72 hours - it was the ambulance staff treating a drunk outside a nightclub that noticed fuel vapour from that Merc. although having said that, MI5 reckons this is a brand new cell with no history of suspicious activity and so are harder to track. and hats off for being able to then disarm the car bombs succcessfully. ...but how a flaming car full of petrol managed to almost drive into an airport leaves me a little worried. again, it was lucky that the cocks didnt know what they were doing and so no explosion occurred. :mac1: my solution: for every car bomb over here, we drop a nuke over there. see who's left standing.
  4. just seen this - there is a cheque that I sent that hasnt been cashed. will pm Syko.
  5. Happy Birthday mate :duffer: hope you are well.
  6. nah the Z honestly looks better. how cool is that? :D
  7.
  8. :hurl: :hurl: :hurl: ive just seen it :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:
  9. well well well lookee here... :D
  10. lol, i had a burgundy GSi too  was the master of the GTi's\GTE's\Gsi's\SRi's at the time. had K&N intake, Walker exhaust, Cosworth bonnet vents  :slap: and some dials above the glovebox. always fancied a Calibra turbo but they cost too much at the time.
  11. thats the most constructive thing ive seen a monkey in a tracksuit do. shouldn't he be in bed cos it looks like it was at least 8pm.
  12. WOW 10/10 for that! really fun to watch. love it when he's surfing the other guy near the end!
  13. general consensus is that 14.5psi is the safe limit on standards. some push 15/16 or even 17 but its a matter of how lucky you feel, or whether you want your engine to explode so youve got an excuse to rebuild :p to safely push 17/18 you need (apart from the basics like intake/zorst/chip/etc). larger injectors, aftermarket intercoolers, aftermarket or rebuilt turbos. theres also the argument of whether 18-year-old pistons (which are still very strong) can take the extra power. Forged pistons are a recommendation if you want reliable power.

  15. yep he's a top bloke - he's had a minor problem recently which might have taken his eye off the ball a little. contact him through torque-power and im sure you can sort something out.
  16. i use my PC for things like first-person shooters where youve just GOT to have a mouse ;) and i use my humble PS2 for driving games (GT4) beat em ups, etc. it's the solid frame rate that makes arcade games more attractive on a console than on a PC.
  17. i cant really say because i dont own any of them (just a PS2) but from what i gather from various people in various forums is that the360 and Wii are the ones to get at the moment - the PS3 is still too expensive and developers still dont understand it enough to utilise it 100%. maybe in a years time.
  18. welcome Theo :duffer:
  19. blame it on the Z
  20. ok thanks guys. ive just spoken to Mickey and he's explained that aftermarket elbows are a slightly different shape and so won't fit onto stock decat/cat pipes. my PHNW ones are designed to fit the standard turbo elbows, so it looks like i'll have to do exactly what Ed says, buy the kit, and flog the old ones. :)
  21. i always laugh when people say the economy is the strongest its ever been, when in fact the public is £8bn in debt - more so than ever in history. that's where the money's come from.
  22. im not sure of what to make of Brown yet. i think he's a stronger person, and he doesnt look like a grinning clown like his predecessor. nor will he be a lapdog for the likes of Bush. hopefully he'll be a little tougher on things like crime and hopefully he'll put the public first and not crims/immigrants/scroungers/etc. first for a change of course he'll tax us for breathing but we're used to things like that nowadays :headvswal
  23. thanks for the write-up Allan  plenum bypass well and truly explained :)
  24. can someone explain to me the difference/similarity between the following: Decats Precats Downpipes Wastegate pipes Inconel Manifolds reason being is that i want aftermarket turbo elbows (divorced ones that keep the exhaust gases spinning) but when i look on ebay US these elbows seem to come with the straight decat pipes. i already have PHNW decat pipes (that replace the cat pipes that go onto the exhaust middle section and back boxes). just want to make sure i know what im talking about.
