things are going down to the wire for me, petrol tank leak fixed, but a small other problem, 3 days to get everything sorted @car mad are you gonna meet us in holyhead, there is now only 2 of us as i got a message from zanen yesterday is car is off the road and he has cancelled the ferry:cry:

only getting on line now, left dublin 10.15am 3 of us , adam, dave and me, torrential rain, drove about 40 mins, beautiful sunshine, met 1 mick(iceman) and crew in carlow, on then to waterford to meet the other mick, or should i say the REAL mick(chewie) roofs off fab day 4 zs 2 red 2 black and a mini, nice lunch, if expensive, lots of bird shit on the cars when we went back to them, off for a drive and a photoshoot, 1 at the fishing harbour, 1 at a little secluded beach, chewie trying to get my car onto the sand: then something happened icemans, i will let him explain, seems he got home at 3am with chewies rad cap highlights of the day meeting a new z owner(iceman) dave pissing off some oul wan in her silver suzki (he didnt indicate in time for her) and his immobiliser throwing a strop adam climbing cliffs to get ariel shots, chewie being chewie, and the rumble of his car, id forgotten great day lads once again, get andy to get some pics up

my son who works in aircraft engine maintence place got some stuff that they use that does not react to petrol, so they let the tank straps down, cleaned the area with acetone and then applied the compond, it takes about 24 hrs to go off os i will have to wait until morning put some petrol in and see what happens, thanks for your suggestions

atm im 50/50 if i can go tomorrow, the petrol tank leak may be fixed they put something on thats used in aircraft fixing but it takes 24 hours to go off the tank straps have to be put back on in the morning and then put some petrol in and see what happens, one way or the other i will meet yous at browns barn at 10am, everyone else ready?

thanks i have been googling and seen those but time is against me, i need something temp that doesnt involve taking the tank out atm, going to try an epoxy steel glue of some sort tomorrow, then if i get that to work i can go to z008 and slick pete has a tank i can collect there

@paul thanks i know where there is a jspec swb being broken mine is a uk lwb @ossian, any idea of the name, is it just a matter of getting the car up on the ramp and plastering this stuff on,

my car has been off the road for a couple of months, nothing wrong just trying to save on a bit of tax. taxed it this morning, went to start it it was all chuggy, noticed the petrol light on, got a can went to the garage got petrol put it in, my son happened to be lying on the ground beside the car(putting a front splitter on his new r32gtr) when you guessed it the tank is pissin out petrol near one of the support straps, its a uk so a couple of questions,is a swb tank the same, is it a poxy job to do, or is a temperory repair job possible all this with a meet on sun and me going to z008 next week, im f..king depressed
