  1. Hi Smithy, thanks for that, I poured water onto the drain and it trickled out where you mentioned. However, when I did the same with the rear drain hole, the water then trickled out of the drain hole in the sill (Half way along the car below the door) When I checked the inside of the sill box section I could see the water. Fortunately there is no rust in there but surely that's a rot trap waiting to happen? Leonard
  2. Thanks Mac, does the tube exit outside the car? (through the sill perhaps? I had a damp carpet on the pass side, I stripped out the seats/ carpet etc and put a dehumidifier in it. It's now bone dry, but since it's rained I see a little wet patch on the floor at forward right hand seam and evidence of water inside bottom of A pillar , - any thoughts?
  3. Thanks Mac, any idea on the drains?, (I sent Ajay a cheque on 4th Dec- it hasn't arrived- lost in post me thinks (and no-ones tried to bank/cash it) I'll send another,) Leonard
  4. Hi- Can anyone advise- where do the t-top drain holes actaully drain to? and is there some pipe work in the pillars? Also- anyone know where I can get a complete set of new seals from and what they're likely to cost? Thanks
  5. Hi- Can someone out there help me please? - Only one of my BOVs is blowing off- passenger side. Has anyone had the same problem? -if so, what is the cure before I start messing about trying to find the fault? Thanks Leonard
  6. Hi- Have you seen this? This co. sell these regularly on eBay and also have a web site. The rads look impressive. I'm thinking about getting one myself. The shipping quote is US $70 for 3-5 day delivery to UK and there may be import duty also. (I say "maybe because Customs& Excise don't always check/ bill you- however best to budget for it anyway) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33602&item=2451642942 The website is http://www.z1motorsport.com Leonard
  7. Hi- I bought a set, though I haven't yet fitted them. The quality is much better than the price would suggest, however they aren't in the league of Cusco etc. Probably made in China (what isn't these days?) And they look a doddle to fit. Leonard
  8. hi, has my cheque arrived yet? Iposted it about 2wks ago. thanks Leonard
  9. Hi- Thanks for this, I wasn't sure if the UK shockers are adjustable from the drivers seat (Like the N.American spec ones). My jap tt has what appears to be std shocks with severely lowered springs. I have just bought a new set of springs (only slightly lowered) and want to fit some adjustable shocks though I'm unsure what a good all round shock would be without going to £500+/ set. What should I expect to pay for a set? Leonard
  10. Hi, Can you fit UK spec shocks to a Jap spec car? Leonard
  11. Hi, The cheque for subs is in the post, Thanks for all the help/ advice so far, Leonard
  12. Thanks for the advice. I don't have the original key number - Unless someone can tell me if it's hidden in the car somewhere, or on the lock barrel. I will try taking a lock barrel to a locksmith. thanks Leonard
  13. Hi- It's an original key but there are no numbers on it. I contacted local Nissan dealer and they said they can't help coz it's an import. I will try contacting Nissan GB & Nissan Japan Thanks, L
  14. Hi- please can anyone help? Is there any way of getting replacement keys cut for my Jap TT from the chassis no. I have only 1 key which is very worn and 2 "mr Minute" copies (Copied from the worn key) which dont work- I suppose I could file them a bit etc but I'd rather have new if poss. Does anybody know of any place which does this? Thanks Leonard
  15. Please can anyone tell me- Are the brake discs on Jap spec cars identical to UK spec cars? Thanks Leonard
  16. Thanks for this, I take it that these wont foul anything? What offset should the wheels be? Leonard
  17. Hi, can someone tell me what the best wheel width/tyre size combo works well/ looks good on a std body TT(17ins/18ins) please, thanks, Leonard
