'DANGEROUS' steering light heavy light
Can anybody help ? My steering when turning goes heavy light heavy and is NOT quick responsive. If turning out of a junction it can near pull me into oncoming traffic (thats if theres any) lol. It is pretty dangerous though. I have read a few threads on this but still do not know where to start.:helpsmilie:

Steamy Windows!!
Not sure I think somewhere beside the bulk head (for what good that is) soz..... maybe someone else could pin point where it is. Look to see where the water comes from on the ground after car is sitting at a standstill after a/c being on. Another possibility is blocked channels/drains again corners of windscreen.. my mates car had leaves/dirt blocking them so the rain water was going into the tunnel where the internal fan is for the heater. (this was in his Audi). I hope this is of some help.

Steamy Windows!!
check the drains where the water vapour from your a/c are not blocked.

MAF Question
can you not try it just unplugging the MAF? to see if it runs better. You won't get the same power but it should let it run freely. I had the the same problem with my Alfa after driving in a night of severe rain and going through a couple of minor floods on the road where the water splashed up on to the car. I let it dry out but was it still ended up faulty. Cheapest I seen for a MAF for it was £70-£80 for a Bosch one. I managed to track down an aftermarket one for £36 brand new and it works fine.
